    whoop whoop, thank god all that worrying is over and im happy with my new boobies :D

    * 27th Sept

    * Highgate Hospital with Mr Chantarask

    * Starting off with empty 34b, had 340cc Overs

    * Day Care, Breast Augmentation

    Well my admission time was given to me 3days before my op….7am!!

    I drove a 3hr journey to London the nite before and stayed in a hotel with my bf which was a 6min car ride to Highgate.

    So my alarm woke me up at 5.30am with butterflies in my stomach lol to have a shower, wash hair & do the last few bits that I needed to do. Bearing in mind your not allowed to eat, wash with shower gel or use any deodrant, moisturiser and the big killer MAKE-UP!!! Got my belongings together in my bag and set off to Highgate.

    If you have an early admission you’ll find parking ok but if your a little later on in the day then u mind find it hard to find a parking space. Arrived at Hihgate and checked in at 6.50am with a friendly receptionist, filled in a few forms & was shown to my room at 7.15am. The room was quite big, lovely and clean, plasma tv on the wall, wifi accesses, telephone to call staff/family/friedns and an on-suite bathroom.

    Round 7.40 a nurse came round and introduced her self, asked me to fill out a few medical questions, weighed me, took my blood pressure and measured my legs for fitted stockings and best shocker a PREGNANCY TEST! I was dying this was the last thing I wanted to go wrong lol but all was fine haha!! So I was all gowned up, my sexy stockings on and how could I forget the paper knickers (disgusting). At about 8.10am Mr Chantarask (surgeon) came to see me asked me to sign a consent form, drawed his markings on me & took some photos. Within 10mins of him going the anaethetist came round asked me a few questions and away I was, said my goodbyes to the bf and was taken down to theatre (you do have to walk).

    With all the above being done quite close together, I didnt really have time to think about it and get nervous which I suppose was good…but I didnt feel rushed at te same time either. In theatre at 8.25 and it was quite cold but very clean, I was told to lie down on the bed where my blood pressure was taken again, a few wires attached to me & I was having a needle put it in to my hand with a guy putting a lot of pressure on my arm which was a little uncomfortable and the next thing I knew a mask was put over my mouth to breath this gas in and I was away in noody land!!

    I woke up and was crying, just overwhelmed couldnt believe it was over and I wasnt in much pain either, just a lil scared wakin up to nurses around you in the recovery room faces your not familular with. Within 10mins of me knowing I had come around I was made comfortable in my bed and was wheeled back up to my room where my bf was waiting for me, I was in my room by 9.30am

    I was given some painkillers about 2hrs after op as I could feel a lil brusing down my sides but not realy much pain, I was given some tea and toast when I got back to my room which was lovely. Just kept looking down and couldnt believe I had gone through with it but they were bandaged up. My bf was busy watching he rugby lol so had naps here & there. At 12pm a waiter came round with a menu for me, I had fish with lamb & mint sauce & mash and a big fat chocolate cake it was delicious :D and then the bf informed me he ordered a breakfast while I was in theatre which cost him £7 which I thouhgt was a bit steep for a small breakfast but hay.

    The nurses came round every hour to check my blood pressure & to make sure I was ok or if I needed anything. I got up with a little help to go to the toilet and was walking round I did feel a little funny at first but I was fine after finding my feet lol. The nurse came in and said if I was ok I could go home at 3pm. So as I was feeling fine I was discharged & given some pain killers and antibiotics to take home, but my boobs were getting more swollen as the day went on my bandage was streching lol.

    The next day, I woke up and first thing I did was remove my bandages as I couldnt wait to see my boobies……OMG 1st thoughts there huge lol, was well worth the money!! coudnt really do much but again wasnt in any pain just a lil sore (bruising) down my sides. Set off on the 3hr journey home which was quite uncomfortable had a pillow padding between me & the seatbelt but you could feel every bump.

    At home sleeping sitting up was a nightmare, really uncomfortable and bum was sore from sitting up lol but only lasted a week till I had my stitches out which was nothing thought it was going to kill me lol. All is good now loving my new boobs just cnt wait for these 6weeks to fly buy so I can go get measured :D

    Just wana say thanks girls for all your help & support thoughout the last couple of months, been very helpful. x x x

    Glad your op went smoothly, sounds like the care was great :), hope it’s the same at First Trust Preston. And glad you’re loving your boobs!

    Just one little question for anyone who can answer, why paper knickers? There’s no way they’ll be getting me in those, I don’t understand the rationale for this??!! Xx

    Congrats :) as for the paper knickers they know what it on your then, no metal or anything to dig in while you’re out of it and unable to tell them, i was able to keep my cotton pants on as i told the nurse i was anxious as i was due on that morning! luckily mother nature gave me a couple of days leeway!
