My story from yesterday :)

So, i spoke to my PC on Friday and she told me my admission time was 11:30am, which i thought was quite late considering i was a day case but oh well. So, had my alarm set for 9am which would give me plently of time for my last shower, wash my hair, pack my bag etc. Got a phone call at 8:30am – ‘Hi Abby, its sucha sucha body from the hospital, what time are you coming in?’ So i told them I’d be there at 11:30…started nodding off again…got another phone call ‘Hi Abby, could you come in any sooner? Like…NOW?!!’ Haha, I was like GRANT!(my bf) GO GO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shaved my legs so quickly and badly that i had blood dripping down them lol!

Anyway, got to the hospital for about 10am. First Trust in Preston…cutest hospital ever! Looks like a tiny little cottage! Anyway, as soon as i got in, a nurse took me straight to my room and all the nurses on the way were so sweet and all said hello and good morning and one said ‘Get those clothes off Abby and get down to theatre!!’ Haha. Got shown to my room, went through all the paper work, Mario came to draw on me and confirmed that I wanted to go to a full D (I’d decided on 300/340 as i had one boob bigger but just agreed to a full D). He kept going on about how much he loved my rib tattoo and thinks its one of the best tattoos he’s ever seen and is definately going to have to talk his girlfriend into getting one similar I was going to ask which girlfriend he meant…Nicdev1?? Anchovie?!! HAha! AND the anasthetist (Spelling??) came and went through everything soo quick then they were like ‘Right, whip your clothes off, say bye to Grant, we’re going!’. Didn’t even have time to think or do a wee haha but i’m so glad it happened so quick cos i didn’t have chance to think about it and work myself up for it.

Walked down to theatre, put the needle in my hand and off i went! I remember saying ‘This is well better than my average Saturday night, can i take some morphine home with me?!!’ Haha. Anyway…next thing i remember was waking up and asking all the nurses in the recovery room what they wanted for christmas, as i just had to nip out and buy them all a present and wrap them all up, but don’t worry…i’m amazing at wrapping?!! Haha apparently they were all laughing their heads off at me! Then got wheeled to my room and had to bum shuffle onto my bed (which hurt my chest quite a bit) but i sang ‘Everyday i’m shuffling!’ to take my mind off it

Once i was in bed, i was pretty much pain free! All dizzy from the morphine! Had some tea and toast, then later had soup and a chicken dinner. All the nurses were so helpful and kind! I asked one of them if she knew what sized implants i’d had, she said ‘Yep, 380/410 unders!’….WWWWWWWHHHAAAATTTTT!!!!! Oh my goodness! Not what i was expecting at all, but of course, Mario knows best so hopefully they won’t be too big! (eeeeek!) Anyway, had a wee, had loads of water, went for a walk and then I was ready to go home about 5pm

Felt pretty sick in the car on the way home but just went straight to bed when i got in. Managed to sleep for about 30 minutes last night!! Poor poor boyfriend, feel really bad on him, he’s been so so good to me In a bit of pain this morning, breast band is quite tight and they’re looking HUUUUGEEEE! But i’m happy I’ve got a load of pics to upload soon!

Forgot to write as well that the morphine made me sooo itchy! I looked like a bear rubbing myself up and down on the bed haha and i’m surprised i didn’t scratch half my face off the way i was going about it! My mum said the same thing happened to me last time i had morphine! Think i have a bit of a strange reaction to it! Still itchy!!xxx

Congrats.. Quite a common side effect itching from the morphine. X

Thanks girls Also, i forgot to mention…my right boob keeps on…trumping?!!! Haha! When i put my arm in a certain position, it actually makes a trumping noise and feels soo strange! The nurse said it’s just air inside?! Strangest feeling ever, keeps msking me chuckle!!xxx

Ha it only does it when my arm is in a certain position, hasn’t done it much this morning but was doing it quite a lot last night. Like a weird squeaky feeling, hard to describe! haha x
