My Story – Highgate With Dr Singh

Hi Girlies

I know before I had my BA, reading these stories really helped, so here is mine.

I had a pretty quick turn around, only had my consultation about three weeks before my op and was only able to see Dr Singh and the Nurse 2 days before my op. Mr Singh was really lovely, to start he gave me huge implants and they just didn’t feel right and I thought I looked silly, and he listened to what I wanted and we tried a couple more implants and kept getting smaller. I have ended up with the 380cc overs.Also the Nurse Karen was really lovely too and told me what sort of bra to get and what I needed to do to prepare myself for before and after my op.

So the big day came round pretty quickly, I arrived at Highgate for 7:30am, got shown to my room straight away,there was a bed, tele and private bathroom, and my boyfriend was able to wait in the room. I had to change into that horrible hospital gown and got weighed and measured. The anathesist(if thats how you spell it) came round to see me, so did Dr Singh to double check everything. And before you know it, 10am came round and I had to go down to theatre, I was back in my room by 12 noon. I was feeling very drousy and kept coming in and out of sleep and having a few sips of water. Then when I was feeling up to it, I had tea and toast and was discharged by 5pm. Then we made our way to Hendon Hall where we stayed overnight, which was very nice.

I was feeling very tender, not in much pain just felt like I had a really good chest work out. I woke up a couple of times in the night feeling uncomfortable and just took some more pain killers. I woke up first in the morning and got up and made us a coffee as normal! Got home and was up and about washing up, just taking it really easy, and I’m fine. One week post op now, still feel a little uncomfortable but nothing that isn’t bareable. Oh and I LOVE the results!!

Can I ask what size you were before hand? I am toying with between 380 and 410cc…. but am currently only a 34A/B (small)

Would be great to see some pictures if you have some and dont mind.. might help with my decision making! lol

Hi Boobiecakes (love the name!)

I can relate to your story as I am with Dr Singh and at first he too gave me implants that just felt wrong on me. He told me they were the most popular but I insisted I wanted a natural look and so went with low profile implants. At first he only suggested 350cc and when I left I doubted whether I had gone too small. I arranged another appt to see him, explained, and he let me try 380cc and 435cc. I felt the 435cc were too big and so he put me down for 410cc (I think!). In any case he said they would order 380, 410 and 435 for the day and I can chose. I am booked in at Highgate mid Sept.

What stats are you as I would be curious to know if we are about the same.

Cherrycheeks, I have always wore 34b bras but when I went to see Dr Singh he said I was an A so was smaller than what I thought. I don’t have any pictures but I definatley think the 380cc was the right size for me! I’ve been working away from my office for nearly a year and came back the other day after my op and nobody has really noticed, I’ve put on a bit of weight though and they just think my boobs have gotten bigger with the weight, which is what I wanted I didn’t want anybody to really notice that I have much bigger boobs, I always wore really padded bras before though and now I’m only wearing the thin sports bras!

Niki, I’m 5ft 6in and a size 12 on the bottom and was always a smaller size on the top as before I just wasn’t in proportion with my body! I would always buy fitted dresses that would fit perfectly on the bottom but always loose on the top, don’t have that problem now!!

Wow boobiecakes I am also 5ft6, size 12 and told mr singh I wanted to be in proportion to my wide hips! I thought I was a 34c but mr singh told me I was more a 36 back, so prob a 36b. I am toying with 380cc or 410 cc… Thanks for the info! I always wear really padded bras too and can’t wait to wear those thin ones
