My story Mr Adamo anatomical overs

Hello ladies,

I kept true to my word, just got home in a bumpy taxi journey [grr] and ready to help out anyone thinking of anatomicals.

Arrived at highate this morning 9.30 admission time- not too nervous just very thirsty! Staff were very friendly and helpful so put my mind at ease whilst waiting for my turn.

At approx 11am Mr Admao popped in to mark me up! made sure I was happy with the recommended sizing

Mr Adamo is absolutely fantastic and really jovial which made me feel totally comfortable. He told me I would be admitted in about an hour and to his word 12pm I was collected by the nurse and walked down to the theater.

I remember reading a tip about not looking about -good call! so just stared at the rather large lamp above… I hate needles- usually faint- so that was the worst part when the anesthetist put the drugs into my arm :S – Adamo came in and joked about ice age?!? and said there would be a much larger needle coming soon- very funny.. then I felt totally drunk and drifted off…

Woke up feeling fine! I think I high fived the anesthetist lol and possibly the nurse! had a little cry [joyful tears] as finally I can go to the beach in summer yay!

wheeled back to my boyfriend watching tele [btw the room was lovely with en suite- very comfortable] and had tonnes of water and about 10 cups of earl grey! had some food and ice cream and watched 40D programmes on the laptop till got discharged at 8.30.

If you have a laptop take it as you realise what tripe is on tv in the day!!

overall the staff were very friendly and attentive – food was ok had 3 courses for lunch and dinner and brilliant to have a nice room.

My boobs started off quite small and I was a little deflated then they started growing! felt fine after a couple of hours and started getting up and walking around.

They look great exactly what I wanted – still can fit into old clothes etc just filling them out finally. Am so so so happy – been waiting a long long time for this and finally feel normal

I would thoroughly recommend anatomicals [obviously the cc amount varies between people due to your personal statistics mine were quite small but fit my frame]

They look fantastic and do not look stuck on at all even post op.

I would just like to thank everyone online who helped me out- especially chelsx/riggers and Aoifex who helped me decide between types and sizes- made the process SO much easier and from consult to Op it was 2 weeks.

Factuals..

Anatomical’s are natrelle range from allegen- they are sloped in shape [only slightly] to give you a natural shape. -prob can see from photos I also opted for soft touch in a medium profile.

Cost a little extra but in my opinion look better on me as I had very small boobs before [if you have more breast tissue you can get away with CUI’s – round shape]

congrats georgie on your new boobies i had Mr Adamo too, he’s fab. I did ask him at my consultation about having anatomicals but he recommended rounds for me (had breast fed 3 times and was really empty at the top). Be interested in seeing your pics when you put them up. Jess – anatomicals are tear drop implants x

I chose teardrop as I wanted a natural slope and had next to nothing beforehand so cui’s would have looked stuck on- definitely worth looking into them though- they are brilliant! x

no problem- I did super amounts of research and there was an article in harpers bazaar about all the celebs getting rid of their CUI’s in favour of anatomical for a natural look – posh spice was one of them so looked into it from there x

Sorry you’re probably being bombarded with messages but please please can I see your pics?! I am booked for my op but am FREAKING OUT about implant type because I SO want to avoid the fake fullness in the upper part of the breast and really want anatomicals but thought they weren’t available. Have asked to go for mod profile Inspira range and pay extra but then doing some reading suggests the firmer more cohesive gels give even MORE fullness up top because they keep their shape more. Argh! Anyway, would really like to see what anatomicals can look like so that I can push for this if I like it.

I went from a non existent 30aa [ish not really sure never measured always wore 32a with stuffing lol] and hoping for a full c cup- currnelty swollen to a 28D cup. I had soft touch natrelle range medium profile in 255cc. – the biggest I could have without looking super fake as only small frame- the surgeon will advise a cc size so don’t base it on that unless your small like me x]

Flipping is really uncommon [like I said before most of London mya staff now have them]- only if you have a novice surgeon Adamo has done loads so if you want them go with him. x

p.s you’ll need to check woth surgeon though as they need to be done by someone who is an expert in that field really – if the pocket for them is made to large then they could flip- has to be super accurate. x

Thats what scareds me about Anatomicals i have ready that they can flip i would be so scared of that happeneing to me…thats why im hoping to have the round ones but i dont want them to look fake either as im quite small.

Ahhh i will have to wait to see whar mr Adamo says when i meet him next week.

I doubt they will flip any more risks then getting rippling or capsular contractures. just need to let them attach themselves to your insides lol !

My Pc had them when she was 17 and new ones fitted a few weeks ago – so 17 years of teardrops with no flipping.

I was nearly scared off after people telling me about flipping and I’m glad I listened to the surgeon [Mr Admao] as the shape is awesome already.

For me I really didn’t want round but everyone is different, it’s your decision in the end.

probably just the swelling, but that should be gone within 2/3 weeks. They can take several months to settle fully x

Do you know what is really upsetting me?!!! I thought that all surgeons at MYA used the same type of implants. I was offered either 260cc or 300cc and because I was so unsure about size (and still am) I call my pc asking for a 280cc because it would be in the middle. She told me that they only made them in 40cc. But here in the forum you girls keep on talking about different sizes, shapes,…. I thought they all used the same type of implants at the clinic. That really upsets me because it feels like my pc lied to me… Can’t wait to have all of this done and finished. Just hope I don’t regret on anything (size or position) xx

Thanks George, just checked out your pics, looking great so far! Are they continuing to change shape? Will they drop do you think? ’cause you can see from the markings that the fold is not quite as low as marked (btw LOVE seeing the marking and before/after pics-that’s really helpful).

Wow it’s definitely made me want to seriously discuss size and type with my surgeon again because I really don’t want a huge difference-want to look a large C at most. I don’t want to look too much different to you but have more tissue to start with and am being recommended 300 & 340 round high profiles! Will be huge!!

My surgery date is booked with Marion Grob because I really liked her manner and how she listened to me, rather than Mr Chantarasak who is experienced but didn’t really take the time to discuss what I wanted to achieve. But I don’t know that she’ll do anatomicals….was it a long wait for Dr Adamo? I wanted this done by end April and am getting really impatient now but don’t want to rush it and end up with a look I’ll regret :S

Aw Tania, I felt a little the same too. MYA offer the same implants-CUI low or high profile and most surgeons and PCs will talk to you as though these are the only options. I don’t think it’s that they are hiding anything or keeping it back from you it’s just that it’s generally believed that you have sufficient choice with the implants that they offer and that there is no need to offer alternatives unless there’s some reason that you really want this. Some surgeons do have different styles though and prefer different looks (and possibly implant type) so your PC should match you with the right surgeon. From my experience and what I’ve heard from others other implant types are usually brought up by us girls, unless their PC has had some personal experience of different types or a reason that they personally like to make girls aware of them. I’d say do some research if you’re worried and talk it over with your PC-that’s what they’re there for!

I must say I didn’t think anyone would have smaller boobs then me- so nice to find on here there are loads of women who have gone through their lives with the same hang ups! thought I was totally abnormal!

my width is small 11cm so only could do 255 – you are probably bigger in width if you are offered 300 so if the surgeon says it can fit in then it will.

yes they will fall – already have, so ill post more pictures as they change every day.

Mr Adamo specialises in teardrops so I had him and I loved his manner really lovely and honest. I booked him the day I saw him at the consult but I hear he gets booked quickly as is in demand

George I forgot to ask, would you mind sharing your stats (height, weight…) because I’m trying to imagine your implants in me ’cause they look great but we could be totally different heights and frame size, which would affect it! PM me if you don’t want it shared publicly. I’m 5’7 8 stone and pear shaped with small upper body frame-29″ under bust, 24″ waist

Hi me too a bit pear shaped got hips just had no bust my stats are:

5″3 just over 8 stone [51kg]

approx 28 inches under bust [could push a 27 if tight]

25inch waist

To be honest if I was offered 295 if my boobs could take it [and look natural] I may have opted for it – but because the max I could have without looking fake was 255 I had them.

CC’s are different for everyone but if you have a ‘look’ that you are after best to take an image in and go on what is recommended x

Thnaks hun. I did take a load of pics and she reckoned 300 cc to achieve the look I want, which I still can’t get my head around as it seems huge and in my first consultation (had 3) it was suggested 190-260 region and the biggest in this range with the rice test seemed too big to me! This is why I’m asking you all these questions ’cause I just feel like picking an implant size at random and just deciding to go with that! Lol.

no problem 300 isn’t that much bigger than 260, so would either give you a full cup or just push you over into the next one- but it’s not all about cup size but instead the look and feel.

If your surgeon says 300 will give you the desired effect I would trust them they have seen 100’s! I just wouldn’t ask for larger then they recommend.

I did the cous cous test[ bit more malleable then rice] but you have to compress them into one or two small sports bras [layer two] as this will give the impression of under the skin.
