My Story- Mr Singh, 18th August, 410cc :)

Hi Girls!

I’m sharing my story as I found it really helpful when I used to read other girls storys from their BA’s..

I arrived at Highgate at around 10.45am as my admission time was 11am.. I filled in some forms and got shown to my room within minutes. My mum & boyfriend came with me so I had some support. When we got to the room I felt really nervous and started to cry, I think it’s because I realised that this was really happening! The nurse came to see me and gave me the sexy paper knickers, socks and gown.. I thought the knickers was a hat at first haha! The anesthetist then came to see me, and he was absolutely lovely! He made me feel more relaxed and made me laugh, he said I would be going down to theatre within 40minutes. Mr Singh then came to see me and he was so nice too He drew on me and we both decided to go with 410cc. He is honestly such a lovely person and I’m so glad I had him as my surgeon. Next thing I know, the nurse came to get me to take me to theatre, I walked to the doors with my mum & boyfriend and we were all upset and then I said bye! It was so scary going into the room, it was really cold but the nurse, anesthetist and his collegue (Frankie) were all so nice. They made me laugh and tried to get me to relax as I was shaking and full of nerves! The last thing I remember was Frankie saying ‘I’m just going to give you some oxygen’ and then I was fast asleep. I woke up in the recovery room in a lot of pain and I was shaking so much that the bed was shaking with me.. the nurse was trying to calm me down. After about 10 minutes I went back to my room still in a lot of pain, I didn’t know what was happening. I was drifting in and out of sleep and I didn’t have a clue what I was saying! My mum & boyfriend were pleased to see me back but were quite upset because of how I was reacting.. Eventually I managed to eat and have a drink, had a lot of painkillers and settled down. Mr Singh came to check on me and again he was so nice! I had an overnight stay in the hospital and my mum & boyfriend left about 10pm, I hated being alone! I was so emotional and still in pain. I woke in the middle of the night and the nurse gave me morphene tablets, these helped and I managed to get some sleep

The next morning the anesthetist came to see me as Mr Singh had left highgate, and discharged me. I was so happy to be able to go home! The BA I had was a little more complicated then usual and that’s why I’m in quite a bit of pain. I’m a size 6, was a 32a, and didn’t have a lot of skin or fat. Mr Singh explained to me that he had to spread my fat around my breasts and then put the implant in, in order to get the desired shape.. please dont let this put any of you off having a BA as honestly it’s all worth it!

I’m now home in bed and having a lot of rest I’m more than pleased with the results even though I’m all strapped up and can’t see them properly. I can’t wait to see the nurse next wednesday to have the tapes taken off! I’ll be taking pictures so when I’m well enough, I’ll send them to whoever wants to see Good luck to all of you who are having a BA xxxxxxxx

I was in Highgate Wednesday also, my admission was at 7.30am with Mr Singh and I too had a 410cc, Frankie was very funny wasn”t he?

Can I ask if you are a little concerned about the look of your breasts at the moment?

Oh gosh hun,

Sounds like you were in alot of pain!!! I had 525cc on wed with Mr. Singh, I was a day case and just chilled in bed when I as discharged. I was in agony last night and had a lil cry but I’m much better today. Hold on in there I think it does get easier….well I’m hoping it does!!

Hi Alilou, I can’t wait to see the results either, apparently I can take off the big straps on Sunday. 4 days he said. It was such a big decision and I pray the right one. I breastfed my two and that was why I decided to fill up what was left behind. I am happy with the size they just seem quite pointy at the moment and I am beginning to panic that this is how they will stay?????

I’m very tempted to take them off, but I’ve got an appoinment with the nurse on Monday so will wait until then. I also breast fed my 4 children, I had alot of loose skin was a D cup before kids, I’m waring a 36 E sports bra today for extra support….tried a DD but it was too tight. I’ve seen loads of pics of girls who have had BA’s on sofem and they change so much hun I wouldnt worry too much x

I’m not even wearing my sports bra, my stitches itch too much!!!! I think I will question everything until this horrid transition period is over… Thanks Alilou

Hi Sarah, yes Frankie was very funny, all of the team were so nice! I can’t wait to take the tapes off now, they’re so annoying! I have an appointment with the nurse on Wednesday but I don’t think I can wait till then..

I had my surgery in Manchester the same day as you. It was the same for me with the shaking too! It was the second time I’ve had a ba and hadn’t experienced that before. I got 560cc unders with Helena Antoniadou, I thought she was absolutely wonderful, she made me feel really relaxed and she’s done a fantastic job on me. I get my tape off on Wednesday too, I’m not looking forward to that! It was bad enough when the nurse had to pull a small section off to take out my drains!

Mr. Singh did say I could take the tapes off 4 days post op, but I’ll just wait til monday they are very itchy and annoying though. I’m also feeling tired and weak slept most of the day, we just need to relax as much as possible I think. x

Hi Kayleigh!!!! How are you? Gutted i didnt get to meet you on wednesday! I also cant wait to get these bandages off, mine are soooo itchy. Have any of you girls got back ache? I honestly didnt expect it to be this painful lol xx

I slept until 11 today and I’m still feel tired, really need to wash my hair now!! Will be attempting to have a bath and get my partner to wash my hair later I think.

Ticky, the bandages are so itchy now…think there worst than the pain now!!! and they make me perspire!

My bath will be like heaven!! x

Hi Ticky, I’m ok, just feeling a bit worn out! How are you? I know, it would have been lovely to meet you hun, but never mind and hope we stay in touch! I did ask the nurse if she knew any of you but she didn’t I have a little back ache, I can’t wait to get the bandages off either, it’s driving me crazy xx

Hi Alilou, I’ve just managed to have a bath, it really does make you tired though so just take it easy. I havn’t had chance to wash my hair yet as I just need rest but I think I’m going to attempt it tonight with my mums help.. Hope you have a nice relaxing bath!

hiya kayleigh im about your size but boobs are smaller a 32aaa you said he spread the fat around did you have much to do this as im worried i wont be able to have a ba as no fat and really small.

Hi gymchick,

I was only a 32a and now I’m wearing a 34e sports bra which is too small! You will deffo be able to have a ba, I had a big implant size for the size of my body that’s why it was so complicated but if you wanted a smaller implant size I presume it wouldn’t be so hard. Don’t let it put you off having one hun. I literally had no fat! xxxxxxx

You only have to wait 4 days hun, thats what Mr Singh told me. I would ring her as she told me to before i take them off. Im really pleased with the results. Ive put my pics up on sofem if u wanna take a peak x

I am completely out of the loop, what is sofem? I have yet to take my strapping off, my husband is going to help me tonight but I am dying too. x

I think they are changing drastically even with it still on, I am mega excited about taking it off tonight. I want to wait for my husband to get home and see them with me, after all they benefit him too I guess….. The noises are still a bit odd and the general sensation when I touch them but overall I haven’t had a great deal of pain or discomfort, infact I hardly even took the painkillers.

I am partly nervous that when I take off the strapping they will go all misshapen???? Crazy I know! I’m getting used to the tape.

I will log onto sofem, do they have more visual stuff so you can see results?

I found that the shape off my boobs improved when the tape was removed, less cone like

I know what you mean about when u touch them it feels so weird at the mo lol.

Alot of girls have albums on sofem but they are password protected so you have to ask them.

Oh dont try and take the tape off on your own….u need hubby to hold the hairdryer x

Ticky, I rang the nurse last night and she advised me to keep the bandages on until wednesday so I’ll just have to be patient and wait although I did take the middle one down last night to have a sneaky peak haha.. xxx

Yeah she said that to me but i told her mr singh told me to take them off after 4 days and i’d prefer to listen to him than a nurse. How do they look? I cant belive how close together mine are

Do either of you know if they will get much smaller than they are now? I kinda like them this size????

Oh right, I think I’m just going to leave them on now until tommorow I’ve had a peak and they look good! I’m really pleased & mine are also quite close together.. Mr Singh is a genius hehe.

I’m not sure if they will get much smaller, mine don’t seem to be as swollen as when I first had them done so hopefully they will stay like this! xxxx
