Having had my first BA 7 1/2 years ago through a different company I developed CC in the right implant last year and decided to go with Mya for my re aug.
My admission time was 8am, upon arrival I was shown straight to my room, given my gown and sexy stockings an got changed. Another nurse came in and filled out all the paperwork with me, I was then seen by the anaesthetist, I explained that I was sick off general anaesthetic last time an he said he’d give me some extra medicine :), then saw another hospital specialist and then Mr Traynor who did his little drawings on me and confirmed the implant size I wanted. By 9.30 I was heading down to theatre, the theatre nurse was talking to me about my make up artist training whilst the anaesthetist was telling me to think of something nice like lying on a beach whilst putting the anaesthetic in. Next thing I knew I was waking up and was back in my room by 11am, with no sick feeling and feeling completely fine. After my last BA I slept for practically the whole day, this time I was wide awake 🙂
I was left alone in my room while a nurse kept coming on every now and them to take my blood pressure. I was given some toast and something to drink, I asked what time I could leave (I was a day case) and she said around 2pm 🙂 had my toast, then the nurse helped me into my sports bra, I got dressed, and was picked up to leave at 2.30pm. I was so surprised by the difference in how I was with this BA an the last. Had no nerves at all this time!
The staff in First Trust are wonderful, sooo friendly and helpful, from the reception staff, to the nurses, anaesthetist and medical guy (think he was called Vladislav)..and then there’s Mr Traynor..the man is my hero! Really nice and makes you feel at ease and comfortable..oh and he’s brilliant at his job :)))
The only negative I have about the whole thing is my PC, don’t think she was any good at all, hardly in contact except for when she was taking the deposit and haven’t heard from her since the BA took place.
Overall though my experience was great, anyone who is worried or nervous about it don’t be, and especially if you have Mr Traynor or in first trust preston you couldn’t be in safer and more friendlier hands!
P.s love my new boobies 🙂 xx

Thanks so much for posting this!!

I’m having mine with Mr Traynor at First Trust on the 8th January and this has really eased my mind 🙂 I’m glad you found him friendly as well, when I met him during the consultation he seemed a bit….adrupt, I think is the word. Maybe he was just in a funny mood that day! Did you see the First Trust peacock?

Really looking forward to it now and hope you heal well xx

I don’t think Mr T is a man of many words but prior to the op I think he knows people may be nervous etc and knows how to make you feel at ease. I found him and all the staff there lovely. No I didn’t see the peacock, I looked for it out my window but didn’t see it, was disappointed! Haha. Thanks hun, your day will be here before you know it 🙂 xx
