I had my surgery on Fri 2nd Sept at Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, I had to be there for 12pm. I had my Surgery with Helena Antoniadou she performed a BA and uplift (lollipop)on me 365cc moderate profile soft touch overs.
She came in to see me prior to the surgery to draw on me and answer any further questions that I had and made me feel less anxious about the surgery around 1.30pm. she then went through my notes and I signed/confirmed for my procedures. I originally was having 365cc implants but she said she’d go to 385cc- no more than that or i’d look top heavy- on the day though MYA had only ordered two pairs of 365cc implants not 385cc, I just took this as a sign that I was mean’t to have the 365cc that I was originally going for. I had all my stats taken by the nurse before I went down to theatre and was seen by the Anethetist, I explained I had allergies and asthma he said to take inhaler before I came down to theatre.
I had also made the mistake of thinking I couldn’t eat at least 12 hours before surgery, Helena told me it was only 6 hours so by this point I hadn’t eaten since the night before and felt really weak.
I went to theatre and was put under the GA, all I remember was coming round and Helena, the anethisist and nurse were round my bed and Helena said i ‘d given them a scare during surgery and was asking me how I felt. All I did was feel my right boob and smile. I found out what had happened my blood pressure dropped really low and I wasn’t breathing properly half was through the procedure and they had to give me drugs to reverse it. It’s mad because all I remember is coming round and having boobs.
During my over night stay in the hospital all the staff were great cannot fault them in anyway just wish I could have stayed another night I was looked after so well. The only thing was I still couldn’t eat after the surgery and didn’t eat until breakfast on Sat morning I was so hungry.
I had a really good experience even though I had a bit of a funny one in the theatre, I am feeling great now, i ‘ve stopped taking the co codomols and I am just using paracetamol now for pain and anti biotic px. Helena was amazing and really looked after me and I am really pleased with my new boobs.
