** My Story.. So Far.. :) *

Firstly, I’d just like to thank all the girls who gave me support before having my op! I know how scary it is!

– And to everyone who is REALLY scared..honestly I am the BIGGEST WIMP ever and if I can do it, ANYBODY CAN! LOL..

– Shitting myself..thinking allsorts! Constantley checking the MYA forum for other girls stories/updates/pics..everyting! ha no sleep whatsoever….

10/7/11

-Operation Day!

Got up at 6.30am, had no sleep anyway, quick shower, and then had to wait an hour for mum and bf to get ready! Arrived at hospital at 9.15ish..

Walked in, signed consent forms..waited less than 10 mins got taken to my room!

I cant remember but Kazazzi came in and the Athensic? (person who puts you to sleep) and talked to me..and then a really nice little irish nurse came in and spoke to me..calmed me down :)gave me some knickers to put on and at first i thought they were too small coz i put them on the wrong way round! haha! and then she gives u these flight socks too?!

– Around 12 I jus wanted them to hurry up and get me in! didnt go down for the operation until 2.10, Boo’ed my eyes out! Was terrified! (FEEL LIKE THE BIGGEST IDIOT NOW) lol..they put me to sleep at 2.30pm by 3pm I was awake and they had done my op!

I was soo relieved!

– Woke up totally confused, bit dizzy but everything was fine! I still feel like an idiot for getting so worked up about it, the people that work there are professionals but its only natural to anyway.. I had something to eat, the nurse comes in and checks your blood pressure alot and gets you water,

– By 6pm i was still a bit dizzy, didnt get out of hospital until 9pm and then on the way home got some tea

– Today

Im still sore, but getting there, bandages are coming off monday- cant wait

My storys not that good coz im typing it so quick but i just wanted all the girls to know that are awaiting ops not to freak out like i did because your in good hands and theres nothing to worry about xx

Thank you, its very reassuring to know everything will be fine. Cant wait for mine (13th Sept).
