My story – uplift and 340cc overs – Gary Traynor

Hey girlies thought i would post my story as all you girlies that did before my op were so helpful to read!

I dont really know where to begin…

I arrived at manchester lifestyle hospital at 7.30am. I had to fill out some forms and got taken to my room around 7.40am. The staff were all very smiley and helpful which helped as i was quite nervous! I filled out my menu and waited for Mr Gary Traynor to come round to see me.

Mr Traynor came in around 8.30am drew on me and said he would see me in theatre!

Couldnt believe it was really happening! After losing 6 stone in weight it had really taken its toll on my boobs..to say i hated them really would be an understatement.

After Gary had been the anaesthetist (however its spelt) came in to explain what he was going to do.

I got taken down at around 11am to a lovely nurse who explained again about the GA and said it would sting a little bit. Im not going to lie it did hurt me but everyone is different!

All i remember is her saying if i feel dizzy to tell her and she would put on the oxygen mask..i did feel dizzy but for some reason couldnt tell her..i must have been falling asleep

Then i woke up talking aload of crap but i didnt care because i had BOOBIES :D:D YAYYYY. Cant begin to explain how happy i am and Gary Traynor really is my hero

The nurse let me take a peek and even though i was out of it i loved them!!!

I felt fine a bit tight and heavy on my chest! but the painkillers if taken when advised to really do work a treat!!

Now on day 2 its hurting a little more but its bearable i would advise anyone who is thinking about having a BA/Uplift to go ahead and do it! obviously do your research and take care but i know already its going to change my life and confidence forever.

Cant thank Mr Traynor and the mya team enough! Very happy girlie!

i had 380cc overs and im very happy stil a little tender but the nurse said this is normal. i saw my scars for the first time last night and they are very neat and small its unreal that he could actually fit the implant in though that little opening! xx

the only thing im a little worried about is i have a bit or blood on my bra today but when i had my dressings off last night the nurse pulled a scab off at the same time! i spoke to her this morning and she has told me not to worry xx

Thankyou rachf! awwwww dont be daft i wrote down your email to send them ages ago lol! but i didnt get an email for cwhelan so if u read this let me know your email cos i feel really guilty lol! Im wearing a 34DD sports bra All i can say is some nice button up pjs a nice button up top to come home in also a pillow to put inbetween ur boobs and ur seatbelt for the way home (i felt every bump) and definately a V pillow mine was a ife saver!!!

Where did you get your Vpillow from I got mine form agros but its not cumfy.. tried the last 3nights to sleep sitting up to get myself used to it but its REALLY HARD!!

Mine is from argos and its fine hun! really comfy!

Just get as much normal sleepas u can babe just how u like it cos ul really miss it

I was told by my doc that i may need uplift and implant although my consultation with mya thought i would prob just need implant. what size were you before? I’m guessing from your fantastic weight loss that you had ’empty’ breasts which is the same for me although mine is through breastfeeding.

Helloooo girls they are all sent, its a massive difference as im sure you will see!

Vicky i was a very empty 32/34B and wer awful!!!

Natalie and actually all you girls i canot recomend Gary Traynor enough!

Hes amazing and cant believe what hes done for me

CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW BOOBIES, PLEASE CAN I SEE YOUR PICS MY EMAIL IS janey_heptinstall@yahoo.co.uk i too had 340cc implants and an uplift, i had mine done sept last year!! and i love them!! what size were you b4? i was a 34b and now measure a 32f!! you will be suprised how much bigger they seem wen they ddrop and settle and the scars fade completely XXXXX

oh and if you wud like to see my pics, to give you some idea on how the scars fade etc check out my 2 albums on sofem!! i am janey22 and password is boobies

you will be amazed how much the scars dissapear, they turn a white colour and eventually you cant see anything at all!!!! uplifts are great, you end up with nice high boobies XXXXXXX
