OK well heres my story as promised!!
I left home with my fiance at 4am early hours in the morning, to ensure I got to the First Trust Hospital in Preston, in time for my admission time which was given to me a couple of days before as 7.30am!
On the way the boyfriend deceided he fancied a maccy D’s!! So I sat there in the car watching whilst he ate a big mac! it was torture!! but of course couldn’t eat anything from 1am until after my op!
Anyway we got on our way and finally arrived at the Hospital at 6.45am, we were the only ones on the carpark at this point! a short while later the receptionist turned up, so I got my bags n went inside! I was taken to a day room where I watched TV until the nurses came and admitted me! I briefly met christine a fellow booby partner that day!
anyway, the nurse came and showed me to my room, she admitted me and told me i would be first into theatre! I was pleased to be first in but nervous at the same time! the anathesist came and asked me a few questions aswel as a doctor, and then finally mr Traynor himself! we had a chat and he graffitied on me lol. The nurse popped back in at roughly 9.50 to take me down to theatre! I popped into brooke’s (fairy) room before going down just to say hi! as we had been pinging each other but hadnt properly met! anyway off i went to theatre! i was soo worried i was going to feel everything during the whole op that i actually wouldnt shutt up asking questions! i remember them telling me i would feell a dull ache in my hand and coldness run up my arm!
next thing i remember is waking up shaking from head to toe! they brought me round by saying my name and shaking me gently! back in my room i shuffled off the trolley and onto my bed! i was soooo sleepy however i didnt bother sleeping! i sent gav out to get me a baguette as i was starving! apparently as soon as i woke up on the trolley i was asking for a cuppa!!!! LOL typical of me!
anyway i drank about a million cup of teas! they must have been sick of me keep askin lol! i had a lovely salmon meal and then i left at roughly 3pm not before visiting the lovely Brooke of course, who just happened to be snoring her head off! i had a couple more visits from Traynor before i left, he was brilliant! i would deffo reccomend him! the staff were brilliant also!
I went shopping in fishergate shopping centre which i thought was absolutely crap! went back to the hotel where the discomfort started! i was in pain when i woke up thursday morning! we set off home at 11am and got back by 1pm!
sooo pleased with my 460’s i now feel like a woman!!! Xx
