My turn tomorrow!

2.30pm admission at Highgate, 230cc overs with Mr Adamo

Getting really scared and excited, and it hasn’t even sunk in yet. Tomorrow morning is going to be torture!

Anyone got any last minute advice/post op advice/tips on what to take with me? I’m an overnight.

Hey I had mine on Sunday, I was at Highgate too, the staff there are great especially the after care nurses. Take some juice with you cause you wont be hungry and even if you are i found it hard to swallow because my mouth was so dry from the tube. Take some slippers because you need them to walk down the the operating room, they will bring them back up to your room for you. Bring a pillow for the car on the way home, but they will bring you whatever you may need in your room. And the food there is great, I had the pasta and it was loverly, tea/coffee on tap if you want it, but bring something to read if you want because they charge for a paper.

Other than that just bring the basics, loose clothes, button or zip up front tooth brush etc… You will be fine im 2/3 days post op, day case and i feel fine, do take your pain med’s for the first couple of days at least even if you don’t feel pain, because they will wear off and that’s wouldn’t be fun. But all said and done so far I have no regrets I feel good, no pain, just tightness. Good luck and I hope everything goes well xxx

I was in 2 days ago hun. Only a day case and the one thing Im glad I took was my v pillow!! straws are good to have too. Other than that all the usual items and anything to make you feel comfortable

yay good luck for tomorrow hunni, Mr Adamo is fab ( I had him too ) and I was an overnighter too. Just try and enjoy the experience, as it’s over with so quickly and then you are in recovery looking down at your new boobies – fab feeling x
