My turn tomorrow… And I couldn't be more scared if I tried! :(

Hi girls, it’s my turn tomorrow with Helena!! I’m a day case so have to be in Rochdale by half 7 in the morning!! I’m horribly scared of needles and am so scared about tomorrow I woke up in the middle of the night sat night in a cold sweat feeling physically sick – is this normal?!?

I’m either having 340/380cc unders (deciding today)!

Can anyone suggest things I need o take to hospital with me as a daycare? Also – what type of top will I be able to wear when I go home? Got a big baggy zip up hoody but think I need a top too!

Any suggestions of how to make myself less nervous ns ideas of what to take would great – I’m constantly nervous and loosing m appetite I’m that scared! (VERy excites to have my new boobies though!!!!)

good luck tomorrow, go 380 there is hardly any difference!!!!

take stuff incase u have to stay overnight like i did. tooth brush, slippers, dressing gown, throat sweets, wash bag. u will be fine, its a great experience dont be scared. enjoy!! xx

Sara is right – it is a great experience. I think it was because I was so high on morphine and valium that I enjoyed myself so much hehe. Plus it helps having such a great supportive boyfriend. I think I told him I loved him 20 times and each time he laughed and repeated the same.

Drink plenty of fluids …But be prepared to go to the ladies room 6-7 times! The zip up top should be enough. I just wore a sports bra for the ride home for the extra support, because it was quite bumpy.. Be prepared for that and sit forward instead of leaning against the car seat, it helps!

Might see you there Alison! My panic today is the thought of waking up from the anaesthetic to look down and see I’ve still got my old boobies and for them to tell me they found a lump so couldn’t go ahead (got history of breast cancer in the family). The nurse has just rang me and really helped to reassure me.

I’ve also got 340s and 380s on order and I’m going to have 340s for definate. I know people say there’s not much difference but I was originally meant to be having 300s so to go to 340s is nice enough for me. I don’t want to be too big. And as luck would bloody have it, my boobs seem to have grown overnight. They’re really sore too. Just my luck to get PMT when I haven’t had a period in years. Cos I’ve come off the pill in the lead to the op. x
