has anyone ever asked about MYA’s complaints procedure? or what happens if things go wrong, neither did I.
I would like to hear from anyone who has or is thinking of taking legal advice on any surgeons misconduct? or if you feel you have been treated unfairly?
why not ask the moderator about complaints procedure honey, she would know, and be able to advise, she will be aware of the MYA complaints procedure within the company and give information for anyone feeling they need to make a complaint,I personally havent seen anything on the forums, about people taking action against anyone.xxx
I made a complaint against Doncaster Park Hill hospital for their appalling lack of attention to my basic necessities like food on the day of the op, and keeping me in over 13 hours for a daycase! Mya were great about it and even gave me the details of their head office in case i wanted to complain about the company as well as the hospital. I didn’t, as i didn’t think they were to blame, but was happy they were so open and helpful. Just speak to your PC in the first instance if you have any concerns. They don’t want to lose money or lose face at the end of the day so will bend over backwards to help x
Hello Rubia,
I hope you are well, I have sent you a private message.
MYA xxx
I can honestly say that at no time through my journey have i felt unhappy or aggrieved by the service i have receivced from MYA. In fact i wud go as far as saying they have bent over backwards to accomodate me.
My date was changed twice and the way in which this way handled was to a extremely professional level by my PC Alison.
Thank you MYA for making this journey so very special for me xxxx
I am 9days post op xxxx
Although everyone at mya were lovely. I was shown fake pics that were dumped off the Internet and passed off as a certain surgeons work. I was set to book my op until I stumbled across these pics. I asked the co ordinator again wer the pics she sent definitely work of the surgeon and she said yes. This misconduct made me move away from mya altogether! So be sure girls that the info you are given is accurate and not just done to sell a date in the diary.

Hello Anchovie,
I have private messaged you.
MYA xx
Anchovie, that is terrible, I can’t believe she had the balls to do that! We all obviously look online x
I saw that too I think, was one of an older women with MASSIVE boobies who had an uplift, quite an old photo? xx
Hi Anchovie/Nikibockerglory, As far as we are aware the images shown at consultations are MYA patients however there may be a reason for this so i will definately look into this for you ASAP. I will keep intouch via Private message.
It doesn’t really bother me to be honest, I think the comments and piccy’s from the girls on here who have gone through MYA is enough good press for me to be honest. I didn’t take that much notice of th pics i was shown as I have been researching the procedure and different surgeon’s for over 11 years lol, but I had deffo seen that pic before on the net. Ya never know though that other site could have nicked them some how, there are always to sides to every story! xxx
The mya moderator has just rung me and reassured me that this is treated as serious. Really nice people. She Very concerned about the reputation and authenticity of mya. We just have to be savvy on our journey. It worries me that a more naive girl would not have Sussed it. My chosen surgeon may well have been as good as the pics but I simply knew I was being mislead. Sad cos mya co ordinator said they could have shown me genuine shots. Was handled efficiently and professionally and she was glad I flagged this up!
