Mya aftercare is shocking!!!!

I’m 9 weeks po and 1 boob is noticeably smaller than the other and higher and they weren’t different sizes before and also the smaller boob is weird…I was in the bath n felt something just under my nipple and when I move m fingertips over the surface of the skin it feels like there is a bubble of fluid but it feels like the implant…strange feeling…I did call the clinic today to cancel my appointment. With dr Traynor as I couldn’t make it and asked for a nurse to give me a call after 6 as I work all day n she said yes I’ll get someone to give you a call so iv sat by my phone all night and …..nothing!!, this isnt the firs time this has happened, I thort mya was great before my op they called me everytme I needed them too and soon as iv had my op….nothing!! Feel angry and upset and kinda wishing I hadn’t used Mya as I feel the aftercare should be the most important!!! Also iv ran up phone bills contacting mya all the time!!

i know this feeling all to well hunny, they really are shocking yes sometimes they really try, but some of us girls really suffer!

iv had to cancel a holiday so i can see my surgeon, as i havent seen him since before my op, and they cancel all my app’s with no warning just before them

really hope you get sorted with them asap, and that they send you half dead flowers too (not meaning it nastily, but half dead flowers as apology through my door sums up their after care to a tee) xx

I think it’s shocking hunni iv had loads of problems aswel been in hospital having tests because iv found lumps in my armpits and boobs so iv had biopsys n everythin n all I ask from mya is a bloody phone call n they can’t even do tht…. I don’t even wanna spk to em now I’ll jus go to my gp and every1 who I knew who wanted a boob job I told em go mya as I was really pleased with them n then wen I realised the aftercare iv told em to too bother….all iv done is worry all day n hoped to be reassured by a nurse…..but no lol u shud of sent em bk hunni lol hope ur boobies r all good anyway Hun xx

Hey meggyboo what surgeon did u have?? I had kazzazi and I’m also 9 weeks post op. also think my right boob is a bit smaller but also I’ve found a Lil hard lump on the side of my right boob!? Are yours quite hard?? I see kazzazi for my post op appt sat do I will ask him too. Just a bit worried x

Yh Miami girls mine is rock hard n the shape of a rugby ball n it’s under my armpit right on the edge of my boob…I had biopsy n everythin n they said its jus a reaction from the operation so don’t worry iv gt lumps under my other arm aswel Hun, mine r hard n very mobile r urs? Xx

Ohhh Okies that puts my mind at ease. Mine is little like smartie size. I suppose the op and start all types of reactions in the body!!! Has one of ur boobs not dropped as much yet??? My right looks smaller when I lay down. I think it just hasn’t dropped as much yet. I suppose we still early days/ weeks ay!??

i had my op on fri last week, my pc was meant to call me on sat to see how i got on still nothing!!! i rung monday to speak to the nurse as i was feeling really unwell, she was lovely told me to stop meds apart from antibiotics and she would call day after to see if i was ok….still nothin!

when you do speak to pc or nurse they are lovely, its just u have to do all the phoning! i had this b4 my op too . i wouldnt recommend mya to anyone, i havent had a bad experience, i just dont think they are very caring, i kno they are extremely busy, but we pay for a service & its not like where just buying a car…its our health&bodys!!!to have my mind put at ease with symptoms and problems i have to rely on the fab girlies on here xxxmoan over lol sorry about the essay 😆

That does not sound gd, sorry you’re having probs hun. I’ve paid my deposit, but this makes me worry if I’ve done the right thing and chosen the right company. I hope it’s not a case of once they have your money they’re not bothered, but it certainly sounds like it.

Sorry you have had a bad experiance with Mya Amanda. My pc has been really good calling me etc. maybe the organisation hasn’t been so good though like messing up appointments etc. that’s my only concern. Also that I don’t feel the surgeon spends enough time with u!!

i agree totally with u miami …kazzazi has done a fab job, he dosnt say alot or explain things properly….do u know i had my op on fri and i dont know if i got dissolvable stitches or normal ones lol …i got my appoint on fri for dressing taken off so guess il find out then lol ….i do feel like its a case of they got yr cash, kate, so there ok, i know where slating the customer service, but the surgeon do fab work and i guess thats the mmost important chick so dont be worrying, lots of people have good things to say about mya , i guess theres just a few of us who were little unlucky lol xx

I’m like that meg, any probs and I’m on here to find out, so much quicker and friendlier then asking my pc, the nurse or the manager, I love my boobs, but at the rate they haven’t changed, I need to see my surgeon to check all is Ok, and only he can do that, not a phone call or email, him physically touching and looking at them (for the first time since I left theatre)

Miamigirl o had kazzazi and my right is smaller than my left I’m 6 weeks po tomoz, but luckily for me I did not book threw mya I contacted him direct as I knew he was the surgeon for me and iv had great after care, I phoned monday and seen him tue morning he said the size is normal and it takes up to a year for compleat recovery. He was very pleased.

Sorry u girls are having so many probs with after care, I would be mortified!

I think this is an area mya needs to address as they say for 1 bad thing 10 ppl get told and 1 good thing 1 person gets told!.

Joannabella I’d of been angry to have to cancel my hol to see the surgeon! And half dead flowers? That don’t compensate for ur time, money lost!

get a mod to read this an a nurse will guarantee to call you. whenever i post something about feeling unwell or worried about something a mod pops up on my post an then a nurse calls me 5 mins later lol xx

Ive had to wait 9 weeks to see Mr Adamo post surgery not saying its his fault but I was keen to see him at 6 weeks to get the all clear! Still not seen him, am going next week.
