We are sorry to say that Dr Russo has had his practicing privileges with MYA Cosmetic Surgery Limited suspended following the General Medical Council suspending his GMC registration.
This relates to a fitness to practice matter pre-dating his working relationship with MYA. This means that Dr Russo cannot carry out any consultations, clinical reviews or perform any surgical procedures.
The GMC have taken this temporary measure whilst a full investigation is carried out. This could take a number of months. We will be contacting all patients over the coming days to explain how this will affect them and what we will be doing to help.
Given that a GMC investigation is underway we cannot allow this formal process to be compromised and therefore cannot allow any conversations or speculation to be made on this forum. Any references to this matter will therefore be immediately deleted.
MYA have already started to contact patients that have a procedure scheduled within the next 14-days; your personal patient coordinator will make you aware of the various options available to you so that you can make an informed decision about how you would like to proceed.

If you have a procedure planned and due to take place within the month of June; MYA is contacting all patients affected in chronological order and preferably with confirmed details of the alternative options available.
