Mya Finance?

Hi Ladies,

Sorry another question. Me & my partner have a good income coming in. However neither of us have a good credit rating. Infact partner’s is terrible. I work part time & my partner works full time.

We are hoping to save up between £1000-1500 before the surgery. Then use the rest on the 10 month mya finance. Has anyone used this? Are they strict with their credit checks or do they try their best to lend you the money? I’m really hoping with a big deposit we’ll get the rest on credit.

Any advice would be great. x

hey i tried this but you have to either be in full-time employment or earn at least 1200 pcm, luckily my mum stepped in to help me out, also when i tried it (couple of months ago) its not actually mya they use an external finance company called FML first medical loans, hope this helps xx

Well it would be a joint application between me & my boyfriend as he is paying the most. We have a joint income of like £2000 at least a month. Depending if we do overtime. Hopefully it will be ok then. Would really like them for my birthday! X

Hey Hun I sadly got declined ! I had a brill garentor who has a brill Job and a excellent income and I work part time but work loads of over time I was gutted so tomoro I am going to try and go to my bank and see if I can have a loan from them xxx

Did they give you a reason why blaire? X

Whether its a joint app or not they are so strict on bad credit, even ok credit! I got my dad to be a gurantor for me, he owns his own house and earns over £30k a year but my sister messed his credit up wen she didnt pay her rent and they declined him! X

Really? On the phone the finance team told me they try their hardest to help. She even said that if we’re putting a large deposit down more then likely as long as neither of us have ccj’s or bankruptcy we’d be fine. I hope we will be. X

i had £2500 saved up because id originally been doing the piggy bank and they still declined! i was so pissed off but in a way im glad now that i will have paid for my op in full and not have to worry about money afterwards … they said all this to me ‘yeah u wil definately get accepted with a big deposit’ but its not true, i bet even if id saved 3000 i wud have still been declined x

Hey rosa so sorry just seen ur message I have no clue y I went to my bank and tried to get a loan they couldn’t give me one and a credit card but they could give me a 500 pound over draft what I dnt get so I can build up my credit rating as I have non xxx
