MYA Finance..

Ive been looking into the MYA finance option,has anyone used this? How did you find it? What are the repayments like?

hey hun im going with the mya finance,its a £400 deposit (to book ur date) then you pay £100 back every month over 5 years.xx

yep!! very high interest! there is another one that has no interest but think you have to pay it over a year x

Ive just spoken to someone at MYA finance, and they said theyve changed it now so there is no minimum deposit, as it was working out quite unaffordable… When is your date?

yea but that £400 deposit comes off the over all cost of the ba. i only went to my consultation 3 wks ago. im booked in for the 9th of june x

How exciting, is there a long wait from the consultation to the actual op date?

I applied for a MYA Loan, they work along side with FirstMedicalLoans, the options they gave me for borrowing £3000 was, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years, and they didnt ask for a deposit. Hope that helps x

yea mine is through firstmedical loans too. wen i had my consultation the nearest datei could have my op was 4 weeks after but i wanted to wait till the following month x

I applied for the Loan with Mya but was told i needed a Guarantor, Luckily i managed to sort the money elsewhere but if you can it might be best to try and find a guarantor now just incase xx

did you have to pay the 400… or did first medical pay it ? im in the process of getting a loan from them and my pc keeps telling me i need to pay 400£ deposit.. but i dont wana pay it out my own pocket i want it to be on the loan is that what you did?
