MYA Glasgow Clinic Closing?? My BA is 24th April, What happens with Follow up?

Any MYA Glasgow girls know anything about this? i had my preop with the nurse on Thurs at GLasgow clinic and there was no mention of closing. Tried phoning clinic all day today and went straight to answer phone each time, really worried!!

Mya mod can you advise what happens to post op patients? what do we do if concerned or need to see a surgeon? I am one year post op?

heyy i called my pa about this..i am 6 months po…she said if there is any probelms call head office and they would put u in touch with your surgeon, prob just need to see him via ross hall or woteva hosp u got ur surgery xx

Yeah they said all post op checks will be honoured and you will still get to see your surgeon and the nurse will be there till like July I think then if any probs you may have to go to Newcastle. I’m totally gutted as I wasn’t going to have my op till May they aren’t doing mine but if u were booked for April they will, it’s a shame because Karen the PCC is so so nice and it’s a big decision choosing a company!

im havin my ba on 24th april at rosshall, went 4 my pre op swabs etc week and a half ago bt stil no mention of closing. When i phoned up 4 my swab results got no answer 4 2 days, went thru call centre and newcastle branch and got told glasgow had closed, was in absolute panick as id paid all my money, had ba booked, received the letters of my post op follow up with nurse at glasgow branch, just was really annoyd they never mentioned. Eventually gt 2 spk 2 karen who is absolutely lovely, she advised me that staff were only told about this on friday last week and have now been made redundant. My pc suzanne has gone already. Felt absolutely rotten 4 the girls there. Karen advised my post op apps wud be honoured at glasgow clinic bt therafter it will be newcastle, not ideal bt at least we’l stil have some cover xx
