Recently I decided to do laser liposuction on my tights and bum. Because I’m going on holidays at the end of the month I had to have it done asap because the minimum recovery time is 3 weeks. I went to see dr Kingon at his private clinic where they told me that I could have it done by last Friday (29th of July) which would be very good for me. Later on that same day I went to MYA where I had an appointment with Patient Coordinator, Hannah Gibson. She told me that it was also going to be dr Kingdon doing the surgery and because I had already done my BA with MYA she made a very good offer. The only available date was this Thursday (4th of August) and because I had a cold, the price was good and I still had some recovery time until my holidays I decided to go with MYA. Later in the afternoon I called dr Kingon’s clinic leting them know that I was going with MYA on Thursday and his secretary told me that that was impossible because he was already fully booked on that day. I called MYA again and asked if it was going to be with dr Kingdon and if it was going to be on Thursday? I asked several times because she knew that I was in a hurry because of my holidays. She guaranteed me that it was dr Kingdon and if I wanted to be on Thursday I had to pay £500 on that same day to guarantee the day which I did. Yesterday I went to my appointment with dr Kingdon and everything seemed to be just fine, he told me which areas I should do, I went to see the nurse, went to get the money from the bank and when I was siting down in the waiting room all excited about being able to wear skinny jeans one of the other Patient Coordinators sake me to follow her to her room. When I get there she tells me that there’s no space available on Thursday after all. It was like a slap in the face. I couldn’t believe. I felt gutted, anger, disappointed,… Just wanted to cry (and still do!!) Unfortunately Hanna was not there so the other Coordinator couldn’t explain what happened. I think Hannah wanted me to have the procedure done by MYA so she lied about having that day available.
So now I will still have to be covering my horrible bum and tights during my holidays and I won’t be able to do the liposuction when I return because I already have swimming lessons booked and payed with my little girl and I’ll have to wait for them to end. I just feel like crying….
I had a very good experience with my BA e few months ago (even though I also had some issues with the Coordinator) but this one is taking away all my energies. I was already dreaming with my skinny jeans and being on the beach with my bikini on without being over conscious…
