MYA HAVE CANCELLED MY OP FOR TOMORROW!! :( :( :(

my ops bein cancelled for tomorrow, apparently they cant fit me in now.. i was meant to be having revision suregery. Im so shocked & upset by this, i think the way its been dealt with is ridiculous. I literally come off the phone from the nurse advising me al the preparation for tomorrow to then literally 2 seconds later receive a call telling me my ops been cancelled!! I am deeply disappointed in myas service, so upsetting that i have told so many friends about mya and always spoke highly of them, iv referred 3 friends of mine in the past.

not only that but i have made baby care arrangements, my partner and mother booked time off work unpaid, ,and al necessary arrangements to just have it taken away from me. i am so upset i have paid almost 6grand for ba and 9 months later the scars are stil really bad which is no fault of my own bad so have agreed to revision surgery, …making me regret having it all done in the first place because i am stil just as ashamed of my breasts as before. feel like ive wasted 6 grand its ridiculous being treated like this so very last min.. the3re must be system in place where if this happens its rectified asap

dr traynor is a wondersful surgeon and think highly of him so i am in no way complaining about him or his work its the way i have been treated by mya.. im in tears over this. manager was suposed to call me and didnt.soooo angry rite now!!

Aww no that’s terrible hun same happend to last month but it was 3 days before its so dissapointing isn’t it. Chin up hun hope it all gets sorted soon xx

it rly did.. i have done nothin but plan for this, specially havin a 17 month old 2 think of! im hopin they can fit me in thurz now or it rly does mess everythin up! but im not holdin my breath. xxx

aww babe what the hell ?! how can they do that?? im soo scared its going to happen to me next week coz i rang today with a question and i found out theres a problem on my file and the nurse will ring me “tomorrow”, last time i heard that it was a week til they rang! and if theres a problem with my info why have i only found out coz i rang up! ‘( they need to sort themselves out, a popular company should be able to keep up with demands especially how important surgery is xxx

aww fingers crossed for you thats totally shocking how short notice it is! im going to ring all day tomorrow! i know they say they have backlog on calls but a week is unacceptable i have rang before and they rang back the next week . i just hate how the call gets answered and theyre like ILLRINGYOUBACK before you get a word in and hang up when it might have only took 2 seconds to answer a question or something. i love the staff at the newcastle clinic i just wish they had a few more on then these things hopefully wouldnt happen xxx

well today should of been the day feel devastated! all my plans stil underway & im even sat here no nails false tan anything.. fell like a spare part! got a big event in a few weeks time that i doubt im goin 2 make if they push my op bkl any further. yep amanda manchester.. not even sure i have a pa for the amount of times iv actually spoke 2 her! not a clue wots goi n on now. il be ringin soon a sther open xxx

Awwe no hun, thats awful. I know exactly how u feel cos mya canceled my op two days before it was booked a few weeks back, when id done same as u, got annual leave sorted for me and family and friends, sorted child care for my kids, everything, its such an awful feeling when your let down, i actually cried when they told me cos i was so gutted. Mine was also a reop. It was rearranged for 4 weeks after tho and i had it done last week, so hopfully you will be sorted soon. We build ourelves up to this and pin such alot on it, so to then be let down so near is just not nice. Maybe try the manager again yourself?? I dealt with the manager at manchester when it happened to me and tbf it was pretty much out of her hands in my case, but she did try to help me sort it so give her a call xx

this is disgusting!!!!! Ive heard about this quite a few times on here, I had a great experience with MYA and couldnt fault them but i would be furious if this happened to me. MYA really need to sort out their internal proccesses and organization! You would think a large successfull company like this would be able to offer more than this poor service….

this is terrible i cant believe it, the things u do planning up to the day of a BA, like my mum booking time off work & my bf, so they could take me there, getting someone to look after my dog, all the stuff, not to mention the emotional nerves and build up, how the f**k can they cancel something like this the day BEFORE! im so sorry this has happened hun! x

please be assured that we have looked into this as a matter of priority this morning and it appears this occured due to an exceptional circumstance at the hospital where you were due to have your procedure. I have asked the clinic to contact you to explain why this was the case and have raised the issues and miscommunication you have spoken about in your post. Crystal… I know exactly how it feels. Though not due to the hospital due to the clinic itself!! Manchester!! I lost my deposit for the taxi I had arranged, had to travel up to the clinic again and when rescheduled my son couldn’t attend any if his appointments which are essential for his development all this because of their mistake. All at extra cost to me. I spoke to the clinic manager and basically all she could say was ‘I’m sorry it’s happened, its rare that mistakes are made (yeah right) but there’s nothing I can do about it now’. Great isn’t it not!! She was also supposed to call me back, which she never did.

I hope your op is rearranged ASAP. Good luck with everything. X

thanks girls 4 this post.. it rly helps when you feel like noones wanting to talk to me at the clinic at least i have the forum girls!! just had a call from manager, basically saying ther very sorry but not rly much they can do… shes going to ring bk with soonest op date they have! feel in limbo with it all jus waiting, when i dont have time for it!! seriously wouldnt expect this 2 happen & 2 see its happend 2 some of you girls too its deeply frustrating! iv lost money now. days of work, an event planned that any later i wont be able to attend, & i bet theyl be no reimbursemant. not jus that but i mentally prepared myself 4 this! just need 2 knows whats happening now. horrible feeling! huuuuugely letdown by mya!

Mya are a joke transform all the way I have been treated like the queen there mya are money grabbing and dont have a clue what they are doing I no from personal experience

i have a friend who went to transform she said same! well soonest i can have is weds apparently a week from when i was due in.. but would have to travel to preston. managers trying to sort out transport for me fingers crossed! jus want this all over now & get recovered feel like its jus draggin on.xx
