then you NEED TO SORT YOUR COMPANY OUT! It appears there’s a lot of people on here who have the same issue with MYA. And that issue is no one seems to care about their patients, no one answers the phone and nothing EVER gets done! I am not happy with the way they treat their customers and i’m pretty sure a lot of people who use this forum aren’t either. If it weren’t for the girls on this forum I know a lot of our questions would go unanswered.

You need to read this forum and sort out your customer service. You only need to look at the first page of the forum to find a lot of unhappy customers saying a lot of unhappy things. I know for a fact that if I’d of come across the forum and spoken to a few girls I would not have used MYA and spent my time researching other companies. We spend thousands on our procedures and we don’t just expect to buy the implants we expect a service, a journey! And I can definitely say mine had not been a pleasure.

I hope you read the forum because you need to get back to these girls who have had problems and help sort them out!

I HAVING PROBLEMS NOW THEY CHANGED MY OP FROM HIGHGATE TO FITZROY SQUARE HOSPITAL EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BOOKED HOTEL BY HIGHGATE JUST TRIED TO SPEAK TO PC AND NO ANSWER FEEL LIKE THEY GOT MY MONEY NOW DONT WANT TO NO AND MY OP 8 DAYS AWAY!!!!!! WAITING FOR A PHONE CALL BUT DOUBT I GET IT XX

You tell them! I’m going to be on this forum around a year I think before I book anything as my case is a bit different to the rest of you but so far I have read a lot of happy and unhappy reviews from girls.

I will use my years chatting and research ect to conclude whether to have my surgery here or go elsewhere.

I’m sorry your having problems swago and I hope they sort it out, now.

Please be assured customer service is at the forefront of what we do. We do read and moderate the forum. We are constantly sending private messages to patients and helping them as much as we possibly can.

I’m sure there will be many patients that will vouch for this.

Joleendolly, we are picking your complaint up straight away and will send you a private message with the outcome.

We understand there are a handful of complaints at the moment, but there are so many positive and happy patients as well on this forum. We do try our best to resolve any issues in the appropriate and correct manner.

I saw this post and thought i had to comment! There have been alot of girls having issues with MYA on here and they have definitely been let down, which hopefully MYA are making every effort to resolve. There is no excusing this as we are all handing over alot of money which is a big deal but the bigger deal is we are putting our body and lives in their hands and we should all get an equally excellent service!

BUUUUT i also have to defend MYA as well as I have had an excellent service from them. My PC Kayleigh has been fab, Mr Traynor is lovely and a GOD and any issues I have had have been picked up on straight away by the mod and I have recieved messages in my inbox and contacted about them (with the exception of my last email so please mod while I am singing your praises can i get a reply?! lol)

You are never gonna find a company where every person is 100% happy as there as unfortunately there are always gonna be staff who let the team down. The difference here is that because we have an open forum it is so much easier to vent than about other companies. If Transform, The Hospital Group, Harley etc had a site like this i’m sure you would see posts like this on their forum.

I went with MYA because my friend did and really rated them. If im honest i didn’t really do a great deal of research into other companies and since i had my ba i started thinkin maybe i should have so i did a little post op research and I have to say I am more glad than before I made the decision I did. I love my boobies!

Im all for open debate and we should be allowed to point out the bad as well as the good, but I just hope it doesn’t put people off as there are lots of people who are more than happy too xx

I think we’ve all gotta remember that MYA is a business at the end of the day. Like any business, they will always have their good and bad points. They will never be able to please everyone.

Although there are a few people on this forum that are unhappy with the service, us members are a very very small percentage of their customers and there will of course be a hell of a lot of others out there for MYA to cater for.

I would hate for people to be put off just by a few comments cos i’ve spoken to so many people that have had a great service.

Im not gonna pretend that i haven’t had any issues with the service, but overall im really happy and the important thing is i got exactly what MYA stated and what i wanted. The issues that i had were the initial people calling me over the phone all the time.

However NOONE that ive ever seen in person has ever been a problem at all. My PC was good, my nurse also.

One thing that never seems to be in much doubt are the surgeons – and at the end of the day surely THEY are the people that are the most vital. Im happy to say that Mr Singh has been absolutely awesome.

Despite the amount of patients he must be seeing he still has the ability to make you feel like you’re the only one, which is a great quality.

Please remember that opinions are all very subjective and it is rare that anyone will have a 100% perfect experience. I’ve seen so many awesome boobies by MYA and thats the important thing.xx

Amy, i agree… I think it is great that MYA set up an open forum for the girls to chat.

I wouldn’t of liked reading this thread pre-op… would of freaked me out to be honest.

Ladies, if you have a problem that is distressing you so much there are other means and ways of dealing with it. This forum is for chit chat… if you are so worried and having so many problems, you should air them with MYA.

It’s a shame that some are having problems, and my heart goes out to you. But, don’t you think that you’d have the same problems using somewhere else?

The nurses are there to advice… your boobies are insured. What they don’t guarentee from your operation is eternal happiness.

mr singh has a great reputation i came to MYA because i’d seen how mr kazzazi changed my mates life. And, here i am now… 13 days post op feeling like a “lady”. hehe.

i havent even had my op yet and i think mya have been great to me! if it wasnt for the whole team at the clinic and my pc i wouldnt be getting my surgery done. when the loan people didnt accept me they done evrything they could and now im getting it done! but i hope the people who are having problems get them sorted xx

Yeah its great isn’t it, i went out braless for the first time in about 9 years the other day, it was great not having to feel flat. Love my boobs, glad i didnt go with the first company i tried.xx

I HAVE MY OPERATION NEXT FRIDAY! I HAVE RANG MY PC AT LEAST 20 TIMES OVER THE LAST 3 DAYS. SENT HER MESSAGES TO HER MOBILE, LEFT MESSAGES WITH THE RECEPTIONIST AND IV HEARD NOTHING IM COMPLETLEY FRIGHTENEND TO DEATH ABOUT THIS OPERATION AND I HAVE NOBODY TO TALK TO ABOUT IT. IM REALLY UPSET AND NOT HAPPY THAT I CANT EVEN SPEAK WITH MY PC CAUSE SHE NEVER REPLIES OR RINGS ME BACK. WOT A JOKE.

Can I just say that this forum has been a great help, and I really must commend MYA not only on setting it up – which other companies have not done to enable you to see good and bad comments alike – but also on the way it is monitored. I have had a few little issues post op over pain, discomfort etc, and haven’t wanted to bother my nurse with it. The moderator made sure the nurses were aware from the posts I have put up here asking for advice, and I have had 3 calls from the nurses this week to check how I am. I think that’s pretty amazing that their aftercare extends to this. I have seen my surgeon post op even though you’d normally wait 6 weeks, and was offered a second app with him if I was worried. Yes, I did have a few probs contacting my pc pre-op, nothing particularly problematic, but the post op care has been fantastic, MYA have accommodated issues I’ve had over my surgery date and are checking I’m ok without any prompting from me. And my surgeon has given me exactly what I wanted, which was the whole point of this journey for me. I am so pleased I chose MYA.

I likthat they don’t do anything to stop the bully’s on here! I think that’s really bad.

I had a great PC but I would of thought somebody would of rung me and asked how I was etc.

I totally agree about other companies and that you are never going to get a company that gives you 100% all the time but I just think that there is more they could do in terms of helping their customers with any concerns they have but firstly being contactable. It’s extremely frustrating. Especially when you are nervous or need help or need answers, more so if you are post op!

i’m not saying anything about the surgeons or my results itself, in fact i’m so pleased with my results! couldn’t ask for more on that front. Mr singh did what he came to do! Lol. Nor could I doubt the hospital, they were brilliant. I loved my nurse who looked after me.

Rinaule, i’m sorry if I’ve scared you off, that was totally not my intention for this thread what’s so ever. If anything, you should be entrusted with your surgeon as you really are in great hands! This thread was about customers who like Sammie 25 who can’t get hold of anyone when they need someone.

this thread isn’t to start trouble, only to make sure that people who do have a problem to make sure they have it sorted because no one should have to worry and be nervous and have no one to talk to. I mean isn’t that what their PC.is there for. I could never get in contact with anyone, I spent a whole day trying to speak to someone and ended up with nothing. I’ve phoned, text, emailed and got nothing back. Even after weeks of chasing. It’s bad. If it was just me then I would just think oh well. Nothing I can do. But I’ve seen so many girls on here saying the exact same thing. Some who actually have some serious issues!

Anyway, I hope this hasn’t put people off. I’m happy with my boobs! Lol xxx

Yeah I thought that was lovely, I must say the forum has really improved lately too, it seems that the posts are checked more often and rigorously now which is great. I think there are def pre-op issues that need sorting out, poss there are a lack of pc’s for all the surgeries that are getting booked, but post op so far I have been really impressed with the way MYA have gone over and above what is expected of them to really help me, v thoughtful.

I guess I must have been lucky my pc always responded to my e-mails, texts and calls. Some people are obviously much better at their jobs than others. Maybe some pcs could do with a bit more training?

i too have had a fantastic experience with mya, in life you will always have pro and cons with everything and anything you do, its all about reading between the lines, genereally id say 90% of people are happy with mya, which ever company you choose to go too theres gonna be people who have bad experiences, my friend went with transform and is currently in a big court case over them being negligent in her opp, but if you speak to others they will say they had a fantastic experience with them, each person and clinic differs in its level of care

i went through cardiff mya and my pc Deborah and nurse kath were awesome i couldnt fault them pre or post opp, and as for dr singh i have nothing but praise for him

this forum had been a massive help to me pre and post opp and no other cosmetic surgery company has one so mya def deserve credit for this forum, ye its had its ups and downs but that goes for any forum or chat room, wheres theres people talking theres gonna be occasional arguments and clashes of opinions xx

I don’t agree with MYA letting people bully on this site. I find it quite descusting that they still get away with it!!

I’m glad the forum is monitored because a lot of people air their issues first on here and if they are picked up then that really says something about the service. This forum is a very positive thing and without it I think I would be lost! Lol. So i’m glad MYA have put this up.

Yeah maybe Joanne,S mine was away all the time and no one ever knew what’s going on. But to be fair I unfortunately got turned down by the old loan people but as soon as the new one came in my PC phoned me straight away so we could get things under way

Recently they have been nasty but I don’t like how they just get away with what’s been done and also the fake profiles. Nothing been done and they’re laughing. They’ve picked on and bullied members. It’s descusting and MYA Never done a thing to solve it.

Well I must admit I used to do alot of moaning about the service I received from MYA. The only reason I went with MYA was because I wanted Mr T. He was fantastic. However, the customer service from MYA was BAD!!! Pc was never there for me, I never even got to try implant sizes on before my op (turned up for my appointment after travelling 300 miles – pc was not there – she explained that she had asked another member of staff to see me – but this did not happen)!! Had I got to try implant sizes I would have almost definately gone for a bigger cc. Plus I was terrifed before my op and had no-one to talk to. HOWEVER, I would say that as with all companies some members of staff are ‘better’ than others. To those of you that had a great pc, congratulations. Unfortunately, not all of us feel the same. But I also appreciate that MYA is a business and as with any business there will be flaws in the level of service. This forum has been a godsend and like the others girls have said the other cosmetic surgery companies are probably just as bad it’s just that we never hear about it as they don’t have an open forum like this!

That’s great to hear Nikki I think i’ve been on here so much lately and seen so many bad things. But I guess bad things usually stand out more than good.
