What r the procedures when mya have offerd u a loan. Do u still need to pay a deposit

yes, i think you need quite a good size deposit towards it they do have a finance option for whole thing. speak to your pc x

Iv tried the finance thing , my pc said people with ‘not very good credit score were still getting it’ so we went n tried n they have refused it for 2 different people , so good luck x

Took all my bank statements down, and she could see that we could afford it- and said she’d get head-office to ok it- but still got declined! I thought it was MYA personally, but its finance companies really!

Was gutted at the time, but just gonna save now!

It won’t be MYA it will be a finance company and MYA will have very little say in it, at the end of the day it’s the finance company that loose the money if you stop paying.

Saving is a great way to do it, it gives you time to do all the research and get it all straight in your head plus it gives you time to drop what you are doing into conversations. I spent just over a year saving and also saved enough for any bras and clothes for after the op too

At the moment the loan is from a finance company but from the 3rd week in Jan they will be doing there own. You can pay as little as £500 for a deposit and then they give you the rest. You can then pay it back over 1,2 or 3 years. That’s what my pc said. Double check it with yours though. x

Yeh that is right they are doing there own finance. But i dnt know how much the deposit is

Thats what my PC told me. She said it was “their own”, and that they go by individual circumstances..

When i looked at my credit report, a company called “southern finance” had checked it.. and it knocked my credit rating down another 10 or so points!

Plus, i got declined!

Oh guys Ive just posted about this as well. I’m going through the MYA finance thing atm. It sucks, waiting for an answer should get one tomorrow or the day after. Booo Ive got a £1250 deposit, but my mum has to be a guarantor. Did you manage to get anything sorted pinkbutterfly? x x
