Hi I know the usual time to get my admission time is usually around 2 days before?……. Just wondering is they no possible way I can find out earlier? my op is next week the 16th I may need to get the train to preston the night before and book an hotel. Could you please get back 2 me thanks. xxxxx

I got mine today and my op is on Tuesday, but that’s probably because it’s the weekend tomorrow…I was first scheduled in for the 31st Jan, but I got ill so I got changed to the 14th, next Tuesday and back then I tried to contact them like a week before and they said that they couldn’t tell me an admission time as hospitals are very unpredictable because there’s always so much going on…so they may choose an initial admission time for you, but it could be changed 3 or 4 times before it’s definite. Therefore they don’t want to tell you an admission time early on as it may change, so they want to make 100% you don’t make plans and then have to change them again. I’m sure you can book a hotel the night before or something…you can’t go straight home instead? xxx

they changed my time twice and i only knew like a day and a half before….hope you find out sooner…worth trying to give them a ring though x

my admission time on monday morning is 7.30am! xx

We rely on the hospitals to release the admission times. As soon as we have them we do our best to let you know, I’ll look into this tomorrow with the clinic to see if we have you admission time x
