MYA NEWCASTLE?

I’m from West Cumbria Han. So got about 2 hour drive to Newcastle for the consultation. I know it will be worth it tho. Not that long till you get your BA done! The days will fly by! Are you feeling anxious/excited? xx

Yeah, He will know whats best for you. As long as you have enough breast tissue, then I think overs can look natural too. I hope all goes well for you next week :o) xx

I will see what Mr Traynor says next week. I just want what ever will look the most natural, I would say I have breast tissue so may be he will opt for overs. I tried to get an op date just after new year but they dont start back till the 8th and it was too late for me work wise. End of Jan it will be then, just need to pay my deposit then im all set to go x

I hope there is availability!! Do you know if you are having unders or overs? I was hoping for unders as i want them to look as natural as poss. You recover faster mind, if you have overs, but it depends on what look you are after. Hopefully you will be fine for April. xx

Mind you I did say i wanted mine done after xmas, maybe there is some late space availability for you. I hope im ok for skiing in April x

45 mins not that bad then!! I was hoping b4 xmas, but by the sounds of things I’ve got no chance:sad:. Prepared for a cancellation tho if any come up! Going to Orlando in March so don’t want to be in any discomfort or pain for then, plus I don’t want to miss out on the rides! Will have to see what they offer me and take it from there I think! xx

I was in for about 45mins. They are really helpful, I felt much better when I left. Cant wait to see the surgeon now and see what size he thinks would suit. When you thinking of getting yours done? They are up to end of Jan with the op dates x

Booked my consultation for a weekend. Didn’t know they done evening ones until after I booked! How long does the consultation last roughly?

i went to newcastle last night and they are lovely, im seeing mr traynor next week and hopefully getting my op end of january. good luck girls xx

Hi julsp, I’m so sorry that you’ve had to postpone your op, bet you are absolutely gutted:cry:. I know I would be! You are so right tho your health and family definitely come first!! Jan 11th is not that faraway and it will be here faster than you think! You never know, if I can’t booked in b4 xmas we might have our BAs done at similar times! I’m pleased to hear that the girls at Newcastle are lovely. I think I will ask for Mr Kazzazi to do the op as I really do want to have the natural look. All the MYA surgeons sound like they do a great tho!! I will let you all know how I get on! Consultation – 1 week tomorrow so excited!!! xx

Hi lizzie i too went to newcastle the girls are lovely there, and Im having Mr kazzazi which im so pleased about hes an excellant surgeon from what i see on here and so feminine no body has spoken a negative word and all seem to be happy post op like you ive had children and want the natural look so when you see the pc and she gives you available dates to see surgeon ask for kazzazi .. i should have been having my new boobs today but for some reason after a virus developed late onset asthma so ive postponed to be on the safe side till Jan 11th till i get used to inhalers was alittle disapointed but ive waited this long and my health and family matter more xxx let me know how you get on xxxx

Aw yea thanku, i cant wait 4end results, oo i bet that hurt! I think it hurts wen just just hav the baby and ur milk comes in and ur boobs go rock hard! Im thinkin that mite b what i feels like afta ba! So dont wory if we can put up with the pain thru childbirth, we can do anything!xxx

Stay positive Han! Goin by what everyone says on here you are in good hands with MYA. I guess when its my turn i will be excited and scared too. I’ve been put to sleep b4 and it is absolutely nothing to be scared about. I got myself worked up over nothing! Its certainly nothing to dread hun. The only bit I’m dreading is the pain afterwards! I suffered a lot with mastitis while breastfeeding and that pain was bad enough! It got that bad, that i had to go to hospital on a few occasions with it. Just keep thinking of how great your boobs are goin to look!! You will b fine hun xx

2hour drive lizzie! It takes me half an hour on the train so its nt 2bad! Guna take bout 3and a half hours 2get 2manchester tho! I knw it wil fly by, 34sleeps! Am rly exited! But soo scared, just hoping nothing goes wrong! Iv never been put 2sleep b4! Thats the bit im dreadin!xxx

Can just start by saying how fab this forum is! Reading about everyones BA experience and results, have made me decide to go ahead and book a consultation. Been putting it off for ages, but this site has made me decide to go for it! I am so unhappy with the way I look now (Had 4 children & breastfed 3 of them so not looking good!)
My nearest MYA Clinic is at Newcastle and was wondering if anybody has had their BA done there? Also which surgeon did you have?
I would go for a late booking I think, as I really can’t wait now to have decent boobies!!
Also, If I was to manage to get a BA done b4 xmas do you think I would of recovered enough for Orlando in March 10? Don’t really want to miss out on the rides!

Thanks for that! I thought Newcastle was just a clinic for consultations, but wasn’t sure. My consultation is on 21st November and I can’t wait!! You won’t believe how excited I am! I’m hoping to be a size d :o) xx

Hiya lizzie, there isnt a hospital in newcastle, its just a clinic where u meet ur surgeon and hav ur consultations. Mr traynor only works in manchester n mr kazzazis in doncaster. They chose mr traynor 4me, bt as soon as i met him i realy liked him! What size u hoping 4? Whens ur consultation?xx:thumbup:

Thanks for the reply. Are u actually getting your BA done at Newcastle then or are you going to a different hospital for the op? Did they decide which surgeon was suitable for you or did you choose? I think I would like Mr Kazzazi to do mine if I could, but don’t know if he just does ops at Doncaster. All MYA surgeons have good reviews tho, so it wouldn’t matter that much. Soz for all the questions! xx

I’m booked in for my consultation now – 21st November at Newcastle! I am so excited :o) I filled out the contact form last night for a consultaion and someone contacted me first thing this morning.The lady who I spoke to was really lovely. Couldn’t believe how fast someone got back to me!

Oh no only 2 days left! Doesn’t look good for me b4 Xmas then, unless they have any cancellations maybe. Its my own fault really for not looking into it sooner. Even tho I’ve wanted a BA for a while, its only now, since I’ve read all the positive stuff on this forum thats made me want to definitely go for it. Going to Orlando in March tho and need to be recovered by then really! So if I can’t get it done b4 Xmas I think I will have to wait until after my hols
Whats Mr Traynor then like? I know people speak highly of him on here too. Has he suggested that you have unders cos youv’e breastfed or not?

Hiya lizzie, i went for my pre op 2day at newcastle, im from darlington so that was my closest 2! I bookd about 3weeks ago with mr traynor and there was only 2dayz left 2choose from b4 xmas! Myn is booked for 16th decemba! And lyk u iv breastfed too, its torcher on ur boobs! Im a 32b now and hes said 2go for 340s to take me 2a D xx

I’m only a 34a at the moment and would be pleased with a very full c or a d. I loved my boobs when I was breastfeeding I was a d then most of the time. My hubby thinks a d would be too big cos i’m very slim and only 5’4 I didn’t hear him complain too much when they were that size tho! xx

Thanks so much for your reply. I was hoping someone was going to say Mr Kazzazi. He has got so many good reviews on this site. I am hoping for the natural look but anything will be better than what I have got now! I would say I will probably have to have unders as I don’t really have much breast tissue. What are you having Mel? (if you don’t mind me asking.) I think I will give them a ring in the morning and see if I can get sorted before xmas.

my op is dec 21st with mr kazzazi at doncaster I went to newcastle clinic. I booked a few wks ago and they had limited availability before xmas so I would get in quick. Not too sure about rides you would have to ask they say 6 wks rest from exercise so you may be ok xx
