mya or transform?

i girls im booked to get my BA on 17th dec. i was really unsure as i hadnt told my parents and was nervous about what they would think!! amazingly they totally understood and offered to pay for the procedure which is now going to be my xmas pressie .

anyway my parents hadnt heard of mya and said i should go and see transform aswell to get a comparrison. im not sure about this cos so far mya have been great. i dont meet my surgeon (mr kazzazi) til 23rd nov but judging by this forum he is good.

im just wondering if anyone has been to transform and what made you pick MYA over them? thanks x

Mya are better for boobs and transform are better for body surgery so go with Mya x

Haha my parents did exactly the same, I expected them to be furious but they have been amazing! I had consults with harley medical and the hospital group but felt really uncomfortable there, it was very business like and you had to pay deposit to see surgen etc.

I hadn’t heard of MYA either and to be honest was a bit worried because they seemed so reasonably priced. My parents thought the more I paid the better quality etc. Anyway had boobs done on Tues and MYA have been AMAZING! Great care and support from nurse and co ordinater, always happy to answer questions and you can see the surgen more than once if you are unsure about size etc. I know theres still a long way to go till Im all healed but so far Im really happy! xx

I had a consult with Transform.. Only because I thought Mr Singh still worked there, turns out he doesnt.

If you do some research on other forums seems Transform are getting pretty shitty with their aftercare. I am not going with Transform because of this.

mya all the way! they were fab with me from start to finish. i did have a consultation at transofrm but i found them v pushy and really salesy. good luck hun xxx

Not Tranaform I went for a consultation there and they was rude.

My sister had hers there and they not great the scars are quite bad!

I booked mine with MYA i realy like them, Mr Trainer is doing them.

i went for a consultation at transform on the recomendation of a few freinds their was a specific surgeon i wanted to see so when i met the pc i asked if she wouldnt mind booking me a consultation with this particular surgeon anyway she rolled her eyes and said to me ‘they all do the same job’ i said i understand this but i wanted to see this surgeon after basicaly pleading with her she arranged the consult. i later got home and thought about it, i decided i should not have had to basicaly beg to see the surgeon i wated i wasnt happy with her attitude, and just felt as if she was a sales rep rather then someone who is having an imput into my surgey. I thought about it for a few days an got myself back online, i rang mya at about 4.30 and made an apt for the next day!and from walking into their clinic i felt totaly at ease completly different and i just felt ‘comfortable’ im still pre surgery having mine on 23rd so cant comment that far yet but for me was no question about MYa all the way xx

before booking my surgery with MYA I went shopping around I had consultations with other surgeries including transform and I had to say at transform they were cheeper than MYA but I thought that with this kind of things you can’t look at every single pennies if the quality of the service is not good and at Transform they were pretty easy going about the procedure too easy going if you know what I mean.

I have a small lump on one breast and the surgeon didn’t even ask to see a scan of it…at MYA the surgeon wanted to speak to my doctor in Italy ( I am Italian) to make sure everything was ok and wanted him to send a scan over as well

I think the quality that you get with MYA is very good, still have to have my BA done so can’t really speak, but the service that I have found until now its been exceptional

Hi Sara. I know someone that went with Transform and they were really pleased with what was done. I am going with MYA however, i have found them really good and i am pleased with the service so far! I am also booked in for the 17th Dec, i’m nervous and excited at the same time.x

transform were really weird with me…..didnt like it….they’d never even met me, i had never contacted them but they emailled me saying they’d do my BA for £3400……I was like “how can you tell it’ll only be £3400?” and “how did you get my email address???” sooo strange

Bexepie – Perhaps Transform got your email address from here when you’ve given out for pictures!? just a thought!! Anyway it’s not very professional of thema anyway.

I chose MYA because they were recommended to me and they sounded much more professional than Surgicare. However, I won’t give them full marks for their administration side of things as they caused me a lot of stress right until the last hour BUT my surgery went well and my boobs look fantastic (I had Mr Fallahdar)lets hope their aftercare comes up trumps!!!

Same as bexie i had an email from them and never got in touch with them. Then i had a email from on girl that works with them asking if i produce milk!!!! WTF they keep ringing me and its borderline harassment lol heeeeed blags!!!

hello, i had my boobs done with mya on the 30th july with mr singh, i went to the notts clinic for consultation and highgate for op and the before care and the surgery day is great but when it comes to he aftercare, i wouldnt recommend,ivnot heard from my patient co ordinater since i was 8 days post op, i had to ring the nurse to make the appointment for my 6 week post op check and then never heard from them again. i was ment to see my surgeon at 12 weeks post op and still no one rang so last week (15 weeks post op)i tried ringing my pc who didnt answer her phone so spoke to someone else and she finally made me a appointment to see my surgeon when il be 18 and a half weeks post op oh and iv got to go birmingham. There excuse was as i was at the nottingham clinic they are unable to see patients there at the minute, which is fair enough but why couldnt someone ring to tell me this? but why would they ring when noone has rang m since 8 days after i had my op. I maybe just a one off but i think its bob when you paid all this money and they are not fussed.
