Mya or Transform

Im strugling to see what the difference is between the two. Any opinions, info etc.. welcome!

Mr Chantarasak appears to work for both.

For what surgery? I had nose op n transform was cheaper bt myas surgeon was beter so I had nose job on 6th march.

I think in places like Transform, Mya, Hospital Group, Harley Medical, that it is all pretty much the same surgeons who do the same work. Only difference is look at the aftercare. They all have different cover and for different things. I’m going to see people at all of them and see what they offer x

Four of my friends went through Transform and they are the most misinformed people I have ever come across in terms of knowing what they have had. They don’t know what size implants they’ve had, whether they’ve had unders or overs, what profile implants they’ve had, nothing. I guess if you know to ask this information it’s ok. But it just shows if you don’t ask with Transform, they won’t bother informing you or making you feel part of the process. Don’t get me wrong, my friends are all very happy with their results. But I’m pleased I chose MYA. x

not to put anyone off but my mate went through transform and had a ba, she is now going through a compensation claim because they left a needle in her, it travelled down to leg and lodged itself in her calf, first she was aware of this is when she had a bruise and lump on her leg, went to the docs who send her for a xray and found the needle she now has to have it cut out and the doc told her if the needle had travelled through her heart it could have killed her, shes the one that told me to go through mya xx

Jesus Christ. Hope she gets plenty of compensation. x

Hmm maybe not trasform then!! I went on lots of websites looking at patient reviews. Googled each place individually like ‘transform patient reviews’ and then went through what people have said. Time consuming but you def get a good idea, i was set on hospital group and they get awful reviews for aftercare so changed my mind.

DO NOT GO WITH TRANSFORM!

Their people skills are terrible! I went for a consultation with them and everythin was so rushed! All they want is your money. If I hadn’t had gone to MYA first and got all my questions answered there, they would not have helped me! The pc at Transform was more concerned about when I was going to be booking and how I expected to pay for it rather than taking an interest in me personally.

Fair enough they may be cheaper, but surely MYA are able to match prices of you tell then you’ve been offered a cheaper price elsewhere?

It’s funny how Transform were so quick to boast about how long they’ve been around etc.. Honestly, I couldnt give a flying ****. Lost my vote. MYA all day!

Yh its tru abt them oni wnting ur moni n nt caring abt u when I cme mya they we’re mre bothad abt me mentally n stuff bt when I went transform I was tld I needed cheek implants too! Lol. N the surgeon was wispering (hed been tlkn all day!) Which creeped me out then measured my nose and said its nt dat ur nose is big ur face is small! Lol same difference!! N e had bras lyin around on the floor ok ppl went to c him for BA bt cme on I wnted rhinoplasty nt a lingere store! I dnt cre if they were 400 pounds cheaper mya hands down!

I went for a consultation with both transform and MYA on the same day transform were terrible! the pc didnt even tell me her name!, quickly went through everything in not much detail and then said oh there is a surgeon in at the moment if you wanna see him? so saw the surgeon who showed me some stupid power point presentation to give me info instead of speaking to me himself! he measured me and offered me an implant size, didnt tell me about profiles/unders/overs what i would expect to gain jst asked if i had any questions. just didnt make me feel comfortable at all like it was so rushed. the pc didnt even say bye after id seen the surgeon i stood ini reception for a while and in the end just walked out! that was about a month ago and guess what…Ive not even had a phone call since from transform to ask how the 1st consultation went or if im still interested! Defo MYA X

I have had two consultations with Transform (have my MYA consultation this Saturday, SO excited!) my pc hadn’t called me at all after my first consultation because I told her I wanted to save up a min of £1000 for the deposit and take the 0% interest free finance option, all she did was moan and tell me that I could take another finance option and pay an extra £800!! No way. So I went for another consultation with a different surgeon (for a diff opinion) and my pc was ill, so I had a ”step-in” who was HORRIBLE! She was basically trying to talk me out of having the operation… in her own words… ”You girls are just having bad boob days, you need to get yourselves down to La Senza and buy a gel bra!!” I walked away from the consultation nearly in tears, I was so angry!!

Well my pc is still ill apparently, two weeks on, and I haven’t heard anything back from Transform at all, I have tried to call them to complain about the last woman I saw, but nobody could help me… so I have to wait at least another week to talk to my original pc and complain to her!!

I really hope MYA does not treat me this way, and from what I have heard, and experienced so far with my pc Amy, I don’t think they will! All I need to do is find a surgeon (and get my deposit together! Lol)

I wouldnt use either tbh…Go direct to the surgeon. Ive totally lost all faith in mya and transform dosnt sound much better.

ticky does it cost more going to a surgeon direct? and how would you go about doing that without going through a company? x

Its cheaper hun. For example if your having Mr Singh go to his company Enhance your body.com and ring his pa….it cost nearly £500 less and you get in earlier. If you want another surgeon just google there name hun…it’ll probably come up with something x

Hi Laura, You need to ensure that you are comparing a like for like quote as you won’t necessarily get the same support or aftercare as you will from a national company like MYA. We have a wide range of surgeons to chose from and therefore can offer more dates to suit you etc. Hope this helps. Also – all our consultations and surgeon consultations are free of charge. Going to a surgeon direct you may have to pay – even just for a consultation.

In my heart of hearts a really want to go with Mya. My mam has even noticed that when I talk about Mya im far more confident, certain and knowledgeable about the procedure with them. I think that says a lot in itself. I saw a previous surgeon at a hospital close to home but there was no after care offerd.

I think ill definitely stick with Mya, the PC I saw was so lovely! Im really comfortable with them.

I personally think its all about the money for all of the companies. Payment, payment, payment is all that came across to me apart from the surgeon who showed more interest and honesty and even said dont book a day case as I wont need it…. bet the pc werent happy about that, haha!! Take a look at this thread, theres proof in the sales part!!! x

Mya owned transform sold up and a few years later come back with mya my cousin went to transform for a lift and b a her Brest look TERRIBLE the scarin i’s really bad and she won’t show us without her bra go with mya 100%

Transform rang me yesterday and i took great pleasure in telling them i was going with mya.

a friend had a BA with transform and she had no idea wot size implants she was having or anything!!! i was very disapointed with my experience with Transform, they were more interested in my money.

I went to both Transform & Mya. & by a street I prefered Mya!! Transform just seemed to want to get the money & not really talk too much. The surgeon I saw made me feel really un ease. He didn”t speak great english & also turned me off when he said I was the smallest girl he’d worked on! But when I went to Mya there was SO many girls there as small as me (small frame), & everyone was lovely! I even put my deposit down the same day after a quick think in the local starbucks!

Now I’ve had mine done with Mya, June last year & I’m beyond happy! x
