Nail polish

Hi – i got my op on Thursday – just wondering if anyone knows if I defo have to remove nail polish on my toes as I haven’t been told but my mate’s a nurse and she said definitely yes…just i have very dark polish on and didn’t want to have to faf pn taking it off if not required.

you have to take it off hun, i forgot and they made me do it just before my op lol xx

I had my op last tuesday and they never told me to take mine off x x

Yep have to do it as they need to measure ur oxygen level throughout op which they do with a sensor attached to your finger, nail varnish gives a false reading!xx

okies… thank u…knew i had to take nails off (false) but wasnt sure about toe nail polish…best start rubbing it off now it’ll take 3 days hahaha

lol, yeah mine was a bugger to get off lol,they were like: the surgeon is waiting hehe xx

Ooooh god im guna feel minging going down with no nail varnish on and no eyelashes, i wear false eyelashes all the time and feel naked without them lol. I know its guna be so worth it though, guna take some eyelashes with me and get my sis to help put them on after the op he he so i feel like me again. x x x x

hahaha mine is black so its on my jobs list to do tonight ….yuck.
gonna feel like am in prison or something !! no nails, no nail polish, no make up, no fake tan hahahah

yeah I looked GREAT for my op lol, NOT!!…tired cos of no sleep, no make-up, no nice clothes (comfy gear for after op etc).lush! haha xx

Im guna make my sis and my friend who are coming with me wear comfy clothes too so i dont feel like too much of a scruff. Ahhhhhh and i forgot about the fake tan, a whole week without fake tan i dont know how im going to cope. lol x x x x x
