Hi ladies, just wondering if anyone can give me advice on bra sizing? I measured myself with a tape measure and I

33 inc around my back, does this mean I should always get a 34 back and just Find the correct cup size?

I ordered a Royce bra for after my op in a 36 DD but tried it on earlier and it fits Me now??

Has anyone else had the Royce post surgery bras? If so do they stretch enough to accommodate the new additions :-)

Surely I can’t need a 38 DD??? Bra sizes are soooo confusing :?

    Thanks x

This is how I was told to do it I don’t know if this is the best way but you measure around your chest under your bust (where the lowest part of the bra should sit) measure in inches. If the number is even add 4 and if its odd as 5 – this is your band size (32,34,36 ect). To get your bust size measure around your bust at the fullest part and take that number away from your band size. If the two measurements are the same your an A cup if there’s a difference of 1inch your a B cup if the difference is 2inches your a C ect…

For example. You measure around your back and find a measurement of 30 inches. This is an even number so you add four inches to find a band size of 34. You measure around your bust and find a measurement of 36 inches. Your bust size is two inches larger than your band size, so you are a C cup. So you should be wearing 34C bras,

I spose if you work out what you are now then your band size should stay the same so if your 34C now you’ll still be 34 post-op just need to go up cup sizes according to the size of your implant. So if your estimating to go up 2 sizes you’d be 34E not 38C.

Hope that makes sense and didn’t bore you to death lol xxxx

Ohh really, I’ve not done it myself tbh I got measured in a shop pre-op and I don’t know what size I am now I just kinda guessed trial and error lol. Ill wait until I’m measured properly at 6 weeks. Yeahh healing well thankyou scars are more like thin lines than scars and I have no pains or anything maybe odd twinge here and there that’s all. They are really soft now feel like real boobs again :) I’m very pleased!… At first I thought they were too big but now they’ve settled I love them! If anything I’d have em bigger, dreaded boobie greed kickin in lol. Whens your op hun? Bet you can’t wait! Xxxx
