NEED the sunbed, helppppp!!!!

Nearly 5 wks post op on thursday and I’ve missed the sunbed I’ve literally gone white but I’m petrified of going on them for

1. My scars…. Don’t want them to stay permantely red and heard that the rays goes through clothes, how do I cover it??

2. Are the implants okay and scared they will get damaged by regular use??? Ahhhhh x

Tina suggested using breast pads to cover the scars stuck on with lotion? x

I stick plasters over my scars. And I’ve only just started tanning my whole chest so I hope the implants will be okay!

im guessing sunbeds are ok cz katie price uses them loads and we all know she has fake boobies lol x

Hahaaa god that’s true but I’m js so worried me I don’t want them to get damaged but I cnt get any whiter and I wud hate for the scars to be red permantly!! .. My mum said about plasters over the scars so that might be ok .. X

Claire they say by using sunbed too early it can cause your scars to stay red permantly and I js worried about my implant .. Sunbed won’t harm them in time bt I’m js worried as I’m only 5 wks post op .. And I need them nowww! Ha .. There more likely to burn tho I think with the skin being more stretched and that but I’m not sure! I js want to be safe xx

Ha I fake it all through the summer and its such a choreeeeeee!!! .. I sunbed it in summer and its js important hahahaa I need it x

Does the heat do anything to the implants?

I can’t fake tan as I have eczema I hate not being to fake tan! Girls than can fake tan – do that instead of the sunbed! I only use it on the odd occasion if I’ve got something to look nice for and I’ve got a christening this Sunday lol xx

Fake tan it!!! No matter about the implants think of your poor skin xx

I’m getting as many in before my op, then going to use that Johnson’s holiday skin till I’ve healed properly.

If I were you I’d wear a boob tube incase they burn hun and plasters over your scars zx

I knw people don’t agree with sunbeds but I love them and I js want the reasurrance that I’m gunna be okay now .. I’ll just wait to see the nurse I’ll ask her the but if I do go on I’ll deffo cover up and put plasters on to be safe!! X

I love my sunbeds too Lauren! I’ll be goin on them soon gonna cover up my scars for a year tho as told by my PC! I was tld to do this when I go on hols in August so they can’t catch through clothes surely might stick a steri strip underneath my bikini? Sunbeds are no harm now and again if u have the right skin type (I.e go brown and not go red or go just red then back white again!) These r the people who r givin sunbeds a bad name from burning on them etc. Cos they just can’t use them without damaging their skin and being @ risk to Skin Cancer!! If you have eczema or psyriosis sunbeds work wonders for u and really help ur condition! I know my stuff as my dad owns a tanning shop and has researched everythin into tanning safely etc. Haha!!

I went after two weeks wearing bikini and little plasters over the scars. I’m 4 weeks now and a nice summery colour )) Don’t see anything wrong with it as long as you protect the skin on your boobs with very high factor cream- it is a bit like baby skin after ba so very, very fragile x x x x

Hey aww a sunbed shop i want one!! haha! .. ahh thats okay then, i have the right skin type i go straight brown.

i’ll just cover them with plasters or something then! Thanks girlies! x
