Need to see pcc before surgeon?

Can you meet your pcc and your surgeon all on the same day? It’s just that I already know which surgeon I want to see so was wondering if it’s possible to skip the step of going to see a pcc first, or possibly just do it all on the same day? for convenience really. thanx xx
