I have my consultation with Mr Traynor in Newcastle on the 28th, hoping to have my BA in may/june but I am absolutely terrified of the pain! Also dreading being put to sleep( hate injections) would love you girls to send me your success stories and to reassure me that I will be fine haha… thanks xxx

i arrived at first trust hospital in preston at 8am, a nurse came in at 8:30am to ask questions and then a second nurse at 8:50am to ask more questions and then Dr Traynor came in at 9am he talked to me and did his famous art work (: . I was quiet neverous about the needle in the arm so the nurse put numbing cream on both hands. At 10am the aneasetists came in and put me to ease saying i could have gas and air before i got the needle. An hour later a nurse came for me, i then laid on the operating table where i was told if i got gas and air i would be worse off so i went for the needle which i’m glad i did as i didnt feel a thing ( i’m a worrier lol) – you have to keep clenching your hand and while a nurse flicks the vien for it to pop ouit because it is popped out the canier does go in very easy lol the aneasatist then came in and flush my veins a little and then put the fluid in to put me to sleep – you do feel it in your veins and then taste in your mouth isnt nice but then you are out within seconds ,, i woke up in bed with my two babies staring at me everything is fine abit discomfortable though and i was sick a few times off getting put to sleep but abit of antisickness and i was fine, hope this helps you all … i am still drugged up and don’t make sense lol good luck girlies and photos will be on tomorrow … i took photos of everything so just add away xxxxx

please dont worry katie i got mine yesterday and im in no pain at all abit tight and in a bit of discomfort but am really well and i was petrifeied of the needle yeterday and i didnt even realise it went in lol you will do great babe xxxx

the GA is nothing hun, honestly, i reacted, and im still ok, and the pain isnt much, its more a pressure. morning boob does hurt though, but not for long, at all!

you will be fine, i hate needles as well, but managed fine, because all i thought was without the needles, i wont be having boobs!
