    hiya having my opp with mr singh at highgate tomorrow – so excited but just wondering how i will be put to sleep exactly ? will there be any needles involved while im awake? and does anyone know the average time from admission to the time of surgery? xxx

    Hey hun, I had Dr Singh at Highgate on August 12th. You’ll be taken to the anaesthetic room (very cold!) and the anaesthetist will put a cannula in your hand (depending whether you’re right or left handed) so that he can put the anaesthetic in you… so it’s not really a needle in the way of big syringe sort of thing!! I hate hate hate needles… so this was the WORST part for me, as I thought it hurt but I have heard you can have ”magic” cream to make your hand numb!! Lol

    thanks babe i feel better now as im such a terrible needle phobic! lol its the only part of surgery im really worried about xxx

    Ask for some numbing cream hun so you dont feel it I am terrified of needles
