New boobies on 9th march……..and he waited till we got back!!

Anyone who I have spoken too recently knows I was debating postponing my op due to my grandad been extremely poorly but after lots of talking with girlies on here and family and friends I decided to go ahead.

Me and my mom went down to London on the train on Thursday evening and arriving at the hotel a young staff member told the manager there was a dead mouse on the table, o my god, the first of many dramas at this hotel haha too cut a long story short when we checked out the next morning we took all our stuff and called my dad to book us another hotel for the second night as we were not going back there, yuk!!

Anyway, important bit now got to Fitzroy hospital just before 9.30am and taken to my room by an absolutely lovely nurse called rowena. She left to give me chance to get my sexy gown on and just when I had got it on DR Singh came in, checked everything and said I’d be down in half an hour to 45 minutes, WTF, o my god that’s quick!!! Then the aneathatist came in to ask all the usual questions followed by my other fabulous nurse Maria. All I had time to do really was get my gorgeous stockings and fill in the menu then that was it, off I went at 10.15.

Really surprised myself how I wasn’t nervous at all, the staff even commented how calm I was and it was nice to have someone so excited. So I lay on the bed and the guy started talking to me about his daughters hair (I’m a hairdresser but it was clearly a distraction lol) then I said how shocking my hotel was and he said just imagine your in the Maldives instead and that was it, I was gone!!

Vaguely remember been taken back to my room and kept laughing. Very happy when dr Singh came in and said everything went like a dream and he did put the bigger size 485’s in was great how good I felt and i ate the food after about an hour. Was a struggle to get up by myself and needed help going to the loo but who cares, I HAVE BOOBIES

Slept ok the first night but felt like an elephant was lying on my chest haha. Not in any pain at all just an ache like I’ve overdone it at the gym. Went straight to the hospice when we got back to see my grandad and we slept there last night which wasn’t comfy at all but it was all a distraction. And bless my handsome grandad who passed away this afternoon. Just so glad he wanted till we got back.

To all the girls who have helped me with any questions you are all amazing. Hope I can help others too.

Sorry to ramble on but basically, all worth it, no pain and can’t wait to get tape off and show off these bad boys, hehe xxxx

Thank you ladies. He is at peace no plus I have 2 weeks off to be with my mom. I guess everything happens when it is supposed too x
