Finally had my new boobs yesterday – even though I was due to have Mario I had Mr Traynor and he was amazing! Actually feel like it might be fate that I had to change surgeon as I love them (not that Im doubting Mr Russo in any way at all)! Mr Traynor was absolutely lovely and considering I had only just met him yesterday morning, I felt so comfortable with him and felt I could trust him to do a fab job…and from what I can see so far…he did! I had 460 unders from an A-B cup and it’s amazing to look down or look in the mirror and see new boobs! So although it has been a shock to us all, and has been upsetting with all the change and disruption, I just thought I’d write to reassure all girlies that he is amazing and hopefully you’ll all feel the same afterwards!

Have to thank Mya as I was in a mega panic when things were getting cancelled but I couldn’t be happier now and in all fairness, they were fab! The nurses at First Trust were absolute diamonds as well…they made an already amazing day, even more amazing! I couldn’t resist showing the nurses when they came in…ha ha!

In a fair bit of pain and tired, but only what I expected! Anyone else have theirs done yesterday? Will upload some pics soon!

Good luck to all you girls having yours soon, and for those having Mr Traynor – you are in very safe hands :) Hope all goes well…happy boob-ing! xxx

Thank you :) any tips on successful healing?

Mya made an announcement that he had been suspended although we can’t discuss it or the threads are closed…so all girls are being changed to other surgeons…bit of a shock at first but really pleased now :)

Who did you have newboobies? xx

Hi Stace what a lovely story. I was due to have Mr T yesterday but I had to postpone due to work, I am now having mine next Thursday.

    Happy healing xx

oh my gosh really? must have totally missed that. All the threads i read about him were positive.

I had Mr. Kazzazi and can’t recommend him highly enough :)

Re healing – don’t look at them every 5 mins. Honestly this is the single best bit of advice i can give. Just looking at them makes you paranoid, and you’ll think you have everything under the sun wrong with you! haha. Chuck the pain meds as they make you horribly bloated, just use kiddie pain killers if needed, get a v pillow if you haven’t already, get out for a gentle walk in the sun and fresh air every day, drink loads of water, get someone to come and do your hair/ nails after a week or two as it will make you feel loads better x

Hiya exaxtly the same as you was due to have russo yest in london but had to travel to Preston to have it with Traynor!

I feel like it was fate too he has done an amazing job and he was lovely!! I agree the nurses where great!!

After a restless night in a hotel and a 5 hour journey back home today im feeling suprisingly okay!

Have a breast band on for a few hours and that is whats causing me pain – anyone else feeling that the band is not worth the pain?!

Also i havnt been told much about the band apart from it helps the implants settle and not rise should i have it on all the time? Or can i just wear it periodicly?! Any help will be much appreciated?! Thanks x

I was told my royce bra will be ok to wear and I don’t need to wear my band, I only wore my band in the car journey home to hold them as still as possible because every movement hurt.xx

Hi girls…glad all your experiences have been positive too!

Thanks Tracy…good luck on Thurs – sure you will love the results – keep us updated!

Newboobies – the advice made me laugh – thank you…i have been looking at them every five minutes, the only time I don’t peek at them is when I’m asleep, which actually I seem to have done a lot of, has anyone else been sleeping loads? wasnt sure if it was the medication? Am sending my sister for a V pillow today, first night was so uncomfortable although I propped myself up with a few more pillows last night and it was quite a nice sleep!

staceyanne he’s fab, i love mine – will post some pics today – was going to yesterday although i spent most of the day asleep or feeling sick but feeling so much more lively today!

Mrsjackson, missimorgan and hanweb how are you feeling today? Hope you’re all well! hanweb and mrs jackson – thought we would have seen each other although I didn’t see any other patients – did you? I havent got a band on hanweb – just the plaster and my bra? xx

Im feeling okay I also sent my sister out for a V pillow it is actually amazing!! I didnt see anyone apart from my sister and two nurses And the only reason i saw the second nurse is because i had an anti-sickness drug and felt like i was buzzing out of my head they thought it was funny to bring in extra people to laugh at me!! Dr Russo said i have to wear one as i have 525s and under but the nurse had no idea when & how long to wear it. I am just wearing it until it becomes unbareable then having a short break. How are you feeling? Are you able to do much? i can just about get up on my own walking about i feel like i might tople over but i can give myself a drink & eat havnt attempted a bath yet but really want one any advice?! xx

I can get up sometimes on my own, depending how long ago I had painkillers. I’m getting fed up of not being able to do anything. I’m getting pain in one incision,on the top of the other boob and feels like I have an elephant sat on my chest but they said that’s to be expected as I’ve had 470xhp as my breast have gone from so small to that size. My co-ordinator said that russo likes his girls to wear breat bands but traynor is ok with them just wearing a bra. Is everyone else hurting all round their ribs, armpits and struggling to move their arms? Xx

Im feeling ok today – yesterday I felt really sick and in a lot of pain, i think the sickness was down to the medication and I hadn’t eaten so think that was it…the thought of eating made me feel worse but I had something about eleven last night and it made me feel so much better. I haven’t had any of the pain relief yet today – just the anti biotics so thats a good thing…i feel more tight and achey today. One of my incisions also seems more painful but there’s no blood or anything which my PC told me to look out for. I have been doing a bit yeah…only slowly though – just getting up to get drinks and stuff, flushing toilet hurts sometimes and my quilt is heavier than I realised and that hurt a little to drag at first – i ended up just kicking it into the living room! I havent attempted a bath either – just been having a body wash in the sink and using baby wipes under my arms. I also really want one hanweb – think i’ll wait until my sisters come round tomorrow and get them to help me – wash my hair over it etc…i hate not washing my hair every day!! mrsjackson, my ribs and armpits are hurting too..as if i’ve been kicked a few times! does anyone else feel really tired? have you started moisturising your boobs yet? xx

No, I’ve just been resting and dozing. Wasn’t told of any aftercare. Do we have to moisturise? X

Thanks xLauraxsx…very happy to be part of Mr Traynor’s boobie club x

mrsjackson, i’m not sure…just wondered when we should start, obviously not getting it near the scars, but just to try and prevent stretch marks? x

Hey Same happened to me Stace and I can’t be happier. I was so worried the day before when MYA rang and said Mr Russo was unable to operate but they did everything to make the day go as smoothly as possible. & as for Mr Traynor, well I thought he was fab. Was originally having unders but he talked me thru why he wud never have agreed to give me unders and I ended up with 525 overs and they look amazing so far. I’m still swollen and little bit of pain but recovering well. The nurses in Preston were fab. I am a nurse myself and I couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you MYA and good luck to everyone. I’ll put my pics up soon x x x x
