NEW MEMBER – Please read!

Only just become a member on here, I am awaiting my surgeon consultation for laser lipo… So excited! Interested to hear from others who have already had it done!???

Hey hun

I had my laser lipo op yesterday

the surgeon consultation you meet the surgeon and they talk through with you why you want the procedure and which areas you want done and has a good look at the area and has a squidge! lol. After that you then speak to your patient advisor and they will tell you what dates the surgeon has available for your area. You see the nurse for swabs and weight check. You find out if you can get that date then the waiting begins haha. On the day you go to the clinic and wait your turn to be called. When waiting the nurse comes in adn gives you a bag with dressing pads and co-codamol. They then put you in a sexy backless gown haha and a hat and the surgeon draws on you. You are then taken into the surgical area and lie on a flat bed he completely talks you through the whole thing. He then makes tiny incisions and injects the numbing liquid into you which just stings a little,This is a weird feeling haha. I felt like someone had placed books on top of my tummy. It only stings a tiny bit, honestly having my tattoo hurt more! lol once your good and numb he then gets to work. Once you are done you are taken to a room to relax for abit with a cuppa and a biscuit if you want to see it they show you the fat they sucked out. Then you are free to go home. The only pain I had was on the way home after the anaestetic started to wear off but I took 2 co-codamol and then I was fine . Then I took 1 more to go to bed with as after getting off the sofa I pulled a muscle lol. Today I just feel abit bruised but no pain . My incisions have already healed and I look slimmer already and im still slightly swollen! so all good from here lol. Changed my dressings once and have been all good. Honestly honey you will be fine. Sorry about such a long essay haha. But if you want anyone to talk to I am here

Awww thank you so much for you reply! I like how it depth it is, it’s not an essay! Im even more excited now Will you be putting before and after pics up? I’d love to see your results. How long did they say it will take for the swelling to go down?? x

Yeah be excited haha cuz i was scared yesterday but nothing to be scared of honestly.

I will put pics up at some point haha.

About 3-6 months for swelling to go down but can take up to 12 months for full results!
