Hi ladies,
Have finally gotten around to putting more pics up. I am now 8 weeks post op and seen Mr Traynor yesterday.
You can see I am very red under the left nipple, this is due to dissolvable stitches not dissolving and irritating the skin. It happened on my right boob in the same place a few weeks ago! The nurse has removed them now so it will heal up soon.
The left boob still has to catch up a bit. Mr T said he will see me agin in 4 months and if it still hasn’t caught up he may need to pinch it in a little more. I hope it doesn’t come to that!
He has said I can wear normal bras once that little bit under the nipple heals.
Hope these are of help to some of you!

hey im new to this and im having that op but with helena! can i send u a friend request ? xx
No problem, have just requested you! xxx
Hi Tara
Thanks for putting these up hun. All in all I think they are looking really good. Once the left has caught up I think they’ll be great. Your scarring is looking brilliant. Shame about the stitches causing irritation but at least you know that’s gonna work itself out. I reckon by the time you reach a year post op your scars will be barely visible at all.
12 days until Mr T works his magic on me!!
Sooooo excited now!! xxx
Thanks Clare! I hope the next 2 weeks fly by for you! It is such an exciting time. What are you having done?
Hi tara – I’ve just added you as a friend – uope you dont mind me taking a look?

Thank you jo, how far post op are you? Remember i am 8 weeks, so pretty far along the road to recovery! Xx
I’m 3 weeks post op hun, but not liking them at all! I took my pics down before, the ones without the dressings xx
Tiara hun they are looking fab. Mine look terrible still! xx
Jo, it is such such such early days for you hun! You know, I was obsessed with how mine looked after the op. I was on here all the time looking at other people’s pictures and thinking “why don’t mine look that good?”, it was driving me mad. On the recommendation of another lovely lady, I came off the site for a couple of weeks and it really helped. I stopped thinking about it so much and stopped inspecting every inch of my boobs so often and then I was able to see the improvements more easily.
samf81, just had a look at your pics and I think ‘terrible’ is a bit strong! They don’t look terrible at all. Your scars are healing very well! Yes, one boob has yet to catch up with the other, but I think that is really common, especially with our op. Mr Traynor says we need to give it at least 6 months before we can really see how they are going to look. Uplift is a big big procedure after all! They will get better. Have you looked at janeyh’s pictures? She is about a year and a half down the line after uplift and implants and hers are looking amazing now. She has albums on sofem, password is boobies as far as I remember!

Yeah i saw Janeys before i had my op, her photos are fantastic and what actually got me excited about my op. Janey had overs i think whereas mine were unders. I think i just expected everything to go smoothly and they’d look good as soon as scars healed, i didnt expect one to take so much longer to drop! xx
Thanks for your message tiara…i was thinking about leaving the forum for a bit, i don’t think i am doing myself any favours keep coming on here and your right, i just keep comparing my boobs to other peoples
I know its still early days but i am beginning to really regret having them done now – i never in a million years thought i would feel like this about them…
xx
I’m beginning to think thats normal feeling after an uplift Jo, its how i feel too, i just keep comparing mine to other peoples and at one point i really wished i still had my old spaniels ears, part of me still does and i think i’ll feel like that until my left one drops and they look normal. xx
Sam its horrible isn’t it! I love reading all the happy stories from all the other girls and i’m thrilled to bits for every one! All the girls on here have been so lovely and supportive throughout all of this and i am grateful to everyone who has helped me…i just want to be one of the “happy ones” too
xx
