Babe be warned, they will look awful with the dressings off (I can tell because you are bruised like I was) but it is totally normal. I had internal tissue poking out and everything because he uses staples. Staple removal is fine, you shouldn’t feel much, I had one in a bit twisted it and it stung a bit was was bearable. The nurses are fab! Happy healing, and remember no matter how good you feel do not try and do anything daft!! xxx

About two weeks, but although I felt ok I really wasn’t to be fair. I tried hoovering and it killed me for a few days. Be prepared to go back more than a few times in the first 4 weeks though, depending on healing you’ll have every other staple out the first time you go and then they check the rest in another week. I couldn’t drive for at least 3 weeks, I think I was more scared of ripping something open. Once staples are removed I did feel a bit delicate because you haven’t got anything holding you together as such, I think it’s more of a psychological thing though. It’s a big op, and always remember its two different ops and they will heal/drop at different rates. xxx

I’m trying not to look at them or think about it too much as ones a lot harder and higher then the other but like u say it’s 2 different ops so just gotta give it time …. Do love em tho
