Hiya and welcome to this forum!
Congratulations on making your first appointment, thats the first step. It’s only natural to be nervous and scared of the unknown so try not to panic!
I take it you are meeting your patienct co-ordinator and not the surgeon?
She will just chat to you, and answer any questions that you have. Don’t worry as you will not have to get your boobs out, that is only for the surgeon.
You should be able to have a feel of the implants too. Good luck xx

Sure, well i’ve never been happy with my boobs, or rather lack of them! I’ve had 3 children and breast fed them all – loved being pregnant and feeding cos i had some boobs!!!
After our family was complete, my boobs went back down to a small b cup and very empty looking. Had wanted a ba for over 10 years, and finally plucked up the courage to have a consultation last June. Had my ba in August and now have boobs yayyyyy 34e and love them. Very happy and definately do not regret it :-) xx

that is what is so great about this forum, you can put your feelings down and know that nobody is going to judge you….

I had wanted a ba for over 10 years, and probably would have chickened out if it had not been for this forum and being able to chat to the girls on here.

Make sure you do loads of research. Good luck xx

I agree with Jacqui – I’ve been too scared for 10 years, partly because I was concerned about the stigma of a boob job, but having seen the surgeon and read comments on here, it is now a much more acceptable thing to do, and as such I’m booked in for the end of April! Believe me, deciding to finally go ahead and have it done is a HUUUUGE step for me! But now its booked, I am really excited and relieved that I’m finally changing something which I feel makes me abnormal and despicable, and as the nurse and surgeon pointed out, its up to me who I tell! So good luck, and go for it! Everyone on here will give you help and guidance if you want some thoughts…

Cool – I hadn’t read the other posts when I put on here! Sorry if they are a bit conflicting, but its always an option open to you in the future if you still feel the same. I think if I had decided to have it done younger then I probably would have done it for different reasons compared to now. Enjoy uni and being a student for now! I miss those days!! :-)
