Hi I’m new to the MYA forum (don’t quite know how to use this thing properly!)
I’ve not yet booked a consultation with MYA but I had one with the hospital group about a year ago, it didn’t feel right so I just left it from there. I have recently decided that I still want to have a BA, I heard a lot of people said MYA is amazing so here I am!
I want to go to a D or DD from a 32B and don’t want it to look too obvious, I’d like it to be more natural than false looking. Has anyone achieved this look from a B and what type/size implants were used? I will be at the Fitzroys when I book my consultation/surgery, can anyone suggest the best surgeon to go for please? Many thanks xx

    Hey Chloe
I haven’t had my op yet, got it booked for 10th April. I am the same as you, a 32b and wanting to be a D/DD. I am having 375 or 400cc implants, partially under the muscle as I want a natural look. I honestly would say book a consultation and go and see a patient coordinator. They will go through everything with you, find out what you are looking for and then be able to advise a surgeon that would maybe suit you best. If you are looking at having them done at Ftizroys then you will have to find out what surgeons operate there as different surgeons operate at different hospitals. All there surgeons are great and have a lot of fab feedback 🙂 x

Hiya, I was a B cup and had 400 cc high profile unders. I’m now an E cup 🙂 feel free to add me and look at my pics. I went for a natural look with Dr Kazzazi at Doncaster. Good luck with starting your BA journey 🙂 xo

Alex, how did you find Doncaster? The nurses etc? I’m there on Saturday! x

Ooo good luck Lindsay not long! It’s really small so not scary like a big hospital. It’s really clean and quiet too. The receptionists are so friendly and funny, the nurses and anaesthetist are really nice and professional. And Dr Kazzazi is so much more chatty and friendly than he was at the consultation. I had a great experience from start to finish 🙂 couldn’t fault anything xo

Hi Leigh, thank you for your advice. I am going to book my consultation tomorrow and will be prepared to ask all the questions waiting to be answered. Partially under the muscles: how long does it take to heal and how long would you have to take off work? I want to know what they look like, do they look any different to having overs? xx

Hi Jennifer, do they offer different types of implants like gel or silicon? Someone I knew had 350cc from A cup and went to an E. Is everyone different when it comes to implant sizes? I’m confused! xx

First three days weren’t pleasant, had my mam and boyfriend literally doing everything for me haha. By day five I was a lot better, managed to go out for lunch with the girls. I’m 12 days post op now and I’m back to normal apart from they ache first thing in the morning. Xo

Thanks Alex, that’s good to hear! Also that Dr Kazzazi is much more chatty :). My admission time isn’t til 11.30 so hoping I don’t have a long wait. Did you have long to wait after your admission time? X

Yeah he was lovely, really reassuring. My admission time was 1.30, got there at 1 and was walking to theatre by two x

Won’t hurt going slightly earlier, there’s a waiting room if your room isn’t ready anyway. There’s only three or four rooms though. Bet you’re excited!! X

I don’t think so chloe but I could be wrong, met my pc on Monday & i’m pretty sure she said MYA all use ‘mentor’ implants, which I think is a type of silicone…. you’ll find it all out when you meet your pc in your 1st consultation :)…. still can’t believe i’m doing it i’m the biggest wuss ever! @chloe-boults That’s what confused me too…every female is different and ends up a different size. The advice from your surgeon will definitely help because he will look at you individually. Unders take longer to heal thans over and yes, they will look different depending on over/under. If you tell you surgeon the look you are wanting to end up with then he will advice on where to place the implant. I have taken 9 days off after my op day. I am hoping by day 10 I will be able to drive and go back to work. I am going with Dr Mounir, he has adviced me to stay as active as possible after i’ve had my op to help speed up my recovery, lots of walks which I am going to try my hardest to do.
Honestly, meeting surgeons and speaking to them will help answer any questions you have amd research from your part. This forum is brilliant, having so many girls to chat to, pre amd post op! Happy journery hun and we’re all here 😀 xx

Alex, aww I’m a wuss when it comes to pain. When did you go back work? I think I might struggle with looking after as I live with my flat mate who is a guy and tbh I would not want him to look after me. I would ask my mum but then again it’s complicated as my parents don’t know I still want to have a BA xx
Ps how do you tag someone in a thread? (Can tell I am new to this!!!)

I’ve booked two weeks off, going back on Monday. I’m going back on light duties for the first week or two. I definitely recommend having someone with you for the first few days, the last thing you want is to hurt yourself or not be able to manage. Haha I don’t know how to tag people either xo

Jennifer, o okay I will have to ask when I book my consultation. Were you shown any of the surgeons’ work and allowed to choose your own.? Aww are you having overs or unders? xx

Leigh, I see what you mean, I’m so anxious about booking my consultation. I’d have to give plenty of notice at work if I want to take more than a week off as there aren’t many staff where I work so would have to work round it. O that’s great, when will you have your BA? Let me know how it goes 🙂 yes I agree this forum does help a lot, it settles my nerves and gives me the courage to go ahead with the BA xx
