Just booked my first consultation after thinking about it for over 3 years! Not sure whether to go with MYA, Transform or Spire yet so any advice would be much appreciated! Also, what kinds of things to ask at the first consultation as my mind has gone blank!! Thanks in advance x

Hiya Hun welcome to the forum.. I haven’t had my boobies done yet.. That’s next week.. But you’ll find plenty of pro’s here to help you. My experience with mya so far has been great and I found transform pretty shoddy but that’s just my opinion. You’ll find there’s a small number of surgeons and no shortage of girls on here that can sing praises for each of them. Talking to the girlies on here win me over to mya.xx

One of the best pieces of advice I was given was to tell the surgeon what size you want to look not necessarily measure. Emphasis on YOU. With transform i felt bullied in to choosing a small size that I knew I didn’t want. You have to trust what the surgeon is telling you, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a discussion- it’s your body and your money and you need to know why the size suggestions are being made.x

Thanks. No not nervous at all just complete excitement. I read everyone’s stories on here all the time about their ops and just get so excited and now can’t wait. It became real the minute I paid the money and has dragged ever since!! What size you looking to go to?x

Good luck ellebee.. I had my BA 4 months ago and it’s a breeze honest.

    Some questions I asked:

The aftercare policy and what happens about complications (how long are you covered)

    Type of implants available

What placement he suggests and why

    Sizes he recommends

    Sports bra recommendation if any

Supplements you can take to speed recovery

How long you’ll need off to recover

    When you can start exercising

What you can and can’t do while recovering

How many followup appointments you will get with him

    About the surgery itself

What you need to take to the op with you

Anything else you can think of.

Take a look at the Boobie bible post which i just bumped in the forum xx

Hi ellebee … I’m sitting on the sofa having had my ba today … I’m feeling a little sore under boobs but otherwise fine and I went with mya… My experience with them has been really good only bad thing was today my operation was delayed 2 hours due to my note not getting to the hospital in time .. All the nurses were lovely and looking at my boobs they are excatly what I expected even though I know they are swollen. I did go for consultaion with transform with mr karn I found him a big rude and he said he would only give me 420 as I had lost weight and he didn’t want to put a heavy implant in saying it would sag ( I had 525 with mr Singh by the way ) also to let u know one of my closest friends and her mum buth went with hospital group early last year and although both were happy with the way they were treated both ate having the ba re done early next year as they are not even and j have to go to Birmingham for they have no hospitals in London .. Bug Hun recomendation is best way and every surgon is best at doing a certian look so go for a few consultaions and see how u feel xx good luck xc

Take pics of what you like to consultation, I did with my second and it made a big difference to what I was offered, I have really struggled with sizes and now i am finally happy that its all sorted and I will get exactly what I showed my surgeon – a picture paints a thousand words! I’m having my op with MYA next week, 34b to hopefully D/DD x

That’s ok, I was same when I first joined, feel free to add me if you want. I just googled pics on the web, a lot of American surgeons put before and after pics up, don’t worry about implant sizes or the pre and post op sizes at the moment, just concentrate on what you like. I saw and booked my surgeon after one consultation but had to change my op date so needed a new surgeon, I have seen him twice now and he is fantastic, he took time to go through what I did and didn’t want, looked at my pics and then gave me the sizes to achieve the look I wanted. I only saw my new surgeon twice because I changed my mind over what implants I wanted and then had to be remeasured as they were totally different make, otherwise once would have been enough, but everyone’s different. You may want to see a couple and decide who you like best, MYA have been really accommodating with me, I went back again today just to have a look at the implants because I forgot yesterday!

i had my operation done through transform and i’ve gotta say i havent had any problems at all with them. you should go to consultations with as many companies and surgoens as you can and go with the person you feel most comfortable with :) xx
