Nicotine test question

What is the procedure for the nicotine test on the day of surgery if anyone has had one recently, I just hope it isn’t bloods again after the vitals as I’m not a fan of needles.

It’s one of those blow tests like the one police have for drink driving but for smoking

Has anyone had a nicotine test and tested positive ? Does this delay the surgery or have you still had it xx
