night out after 12days????

Heya I’m having my op on the 19th April, I’m having 410 oveers. I was just wondering how everyone felt 12days post op as got a friends bday on thy date xxx

i went to an engagement party 11 days post opp of having overs and i felt fine even had a dance each persons diffrent though, but as your having overs i reckon you’ll be fine xx

i had unders 5 days ago and the way im feeling now i would say probably not but there is more healing to be done when you have it under the muscle and everyone i have spoke to on here that has had overs have had no problems and not much pain at all so im sure you will be fine. i suppose it’s how determined you are! x

I had overs on Saturday 2nd and i popped out last Saturday only a week after for a couple of drinks, only supposed to stay out for a couple of hours for a friend’s birthday and ended up staying out all night and getting in at 5am! i felt fine though, was worried i’d pay for it the next day but really didn’t. I really haven’t had much pain at all though so i think i must be one of the lucky ones! As Nikki said though it’s all down to the individual xx

aw gosh that sounds good to hear, so can u actually drink alchohol in the first week then ?? xx

You can start drinking when you finish your antibiotics, they last five days. Only worry with drinking is you forget you need to be carefull and forget that they are still sore so must remember to protect yourself from getting knocked or going too mad xx
