Nightmare!! Had to take off my own bandages!… Started by: fawnlockard88

So this morning I woke up…I looked down and the top of my sticky bandage had come off in the night, and I could see a small blister starting to form. Then realised I was the itchiest person in the history of the world and of time itself…so I rang the 24 hours lady and she said I’m probably having a reaction to the adhesive on the bandage (I personally felt probably was more of an understatement and definitely was my word of choice.) I was advised to take my bandages off leaving the dressings on my incisions put my macom bra off and carry on as normal. Which I’ve done. It was a bit scary because I thought I’d pull the dressings off my wounds but I haven’t so that’s good plus…THE BOYFRIEND HELPED! SHOCK!!! So it’s all good, don’t panic even if things don’t go to plan…just bite your tongue and go for it…it’s not the end of the world. Everyone heals differently so my advice is…listen to your body. I can’t stress that enough! x x

Try makeup wipes but keep well clear of the scars, hope that helps! Happy healing hunn, just give it a few days you’ll be feeling much better x
