I have a nipple piercing which I really don’t want to get rid of.
I know I have to remove it for surgery but has anyone else been able to reinsert them after the procedure and how long after could you put it back in?
Hey hun I doubt u will be able to reinsert it as the tissue is so soft. I took removed mine nearly two month ago and it closed within a few hours
Some people have managed to get theirs back in PO but apparently it wasn’t easy. Speak with your surgeon and some of them let you wear a retainer during the op.
X
i had a nipple piercing and had to take it out, you’ll be in pain and so sore after surgery and trust me the last thing youll want to be doing is trying to get your piercing back in after x
I’ve got my nipples pierced and was hoping to leave them in or put plastic ones on as I don’t want them healing up got mysigery booked for 30th Jan 2017 really excited 🙂 got a 2nd consultation on 20th Dec so I’ll have to ask x
I had to take mine out after my opp because my skin was so stretched after the opp if was just growing out my surgeon told me if I didn’t take it out it would just fall out one day when my nipple finally had enough and the skin would brake but I didn’t really mind I’d rather have lovely boobs with no metal in than a nipple with a split in half haha xx
Sorry to jump on a really old post but just wondering if you did have to take them out or if plastic ones were okay?? xxx
I have mine pierced I took them out day of opp and my nurse said I could put them back in after me a week xx
hey sorry I’ve only seen this! Haven’t been here for a while. I did have to take mine out. My surgeon wouldn’t allow retainers.
I still haven’t got mine redone as I wanted to see how my boobs settle and what my
Nipples were like but they are literally the same so I’m thinking of getting them
Redone ????
My PC told to me take mine out before my op and I asked about having plastic ones and she said no. Maybe ask your surgeon, it depends on strapping as well. You may be able to take them out on the day off surgery and put them back in straight after but you may be fully strapped x
