NIPPLE SENSATION DOWN THE LINE

Good Morning Ladies !
I’m due to have my BA in 9 days…. I’m on here all the time now reading about all of your experiences ..Thank You .. The information you share is SO helpful.

My question is probably more aimed at the recovery 6+months down the line … My biggest fear of this procedure is losing the sensation in my nipples permanently. I know there are no guarantees but I’m just interested in a general percentage …
Have any of you lovely ladies lost all sensation ..experience just a numbness ..
Have you all regained what is your ‘normal’ sensitivity back & how long did this take…
Has anybodies sensitivity levels increased to a better level ???

I’m sure this is a concern for many pre -op so all comments very welcome ?

Heya, I am over 4 months post op, had my surgery in November! The sensation in my right nipple came back almost immediately, however my left didn’t come back for about 3 months! I was convinced it was going to stay numb but the sensation came back in the top of my nipple first and now I can feel it all. My nipples are hypersensitive now, and they definitely weren’t like this before, sometimes it almost hurts to touch them!! The underneath of my boob (below nipple to incision) is still slightly numb, but again I think I’m starting to get that back too, if I pinch it I can feel it in certain places ?? I know some girls never regain sensation though! I’m lucky because I had large overs aswell because I’ve heard placement affects numbness! Hope that helps xx

I’m nearly 3 months post op and have all sensations in my nipples back. I had unders and got the feeling back within a few weeks. I know everyone’s different though xx

Hi i got my feeling bk straight away. Now they are so sensitive and sore x

That’s great it came straight back Cath … Hopefully the sensitivity & soreness will settle.. How far post op are you?? …

I’m 2 weeks today post op. Had 325 overs. Was a 34a now at the mo 36d
