Nipples are OVER sensitive and painful! Need ur help girls

My left nipple is so sensitive it hurts when my bra or top touches it or even when my hair touches it slightly. It’s very painful. When it touches something my whole boob feels like its throbbing it hurts so much. I took off my bra for abit and it felt abit better I’ve put on a bigger size now and it’s better but still a lot more sensitive than the right. Should I be worried? And is there anything I can do other than take pain killers?

omg …a couple of weeks ago my nipples were sooooooo sensitive, it felt like they’d been scolded with boiling water and anything that touched them was absolute murder, the sides of my boobs were painful too …apparantly its where the nerves have been ‘stretched’ and it just takes a little time for the body to adjust, i almost six weeks in now and everything much better …hope u (and ur nipples) start to feel better soon x

i also had horrible throbbing and shooting pains too x

Put an ice pack don’t rub it and let your ready breath a bit from the sports bra

I had that too ladies, it was at its worst for about 4-5 days before it eased off if i remember rightly. Then it came back when the cold hit it when i went outside. That was back in oct/nov though so its a bit warmer now xx

Oh well I’m 4 days post so hopefully it start to get better fingers crossed. With u girls, was it jus one of ur nipples or both?

mine are the same, if i get cold, i get shivers in my boobs and my nipples go really sensitive, I woke up this morning with a graze on my nipple from my bra digging over night, had to go and buy a bigger sports bra today! x

No but mine really hurt like of anything touches is my whole boob gets this sharp shooting pain through it. Is that just me?

The second week is worst than the first for sensitivity cos you are getting your feeling back but it soon passes i promise xx

I don’t think it can get any worse for me to be honest. The pain is unbearable

It was both nipples for me, but i think the right was worse x

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise (it’ll help the nips)! Also try damp cotton wool on your nipples when you wear your bra. It’ll stop it rubbing and worked a treat for me Xxx

had that, settles down. am 7 weeks p/o and all tickity boo now. think if you havent, that means you have no sensation! so at least you will get feeling back, just a bit of patience needed. x
