I went 2 see Mr Traynor last night he recomended 300 or 340cc. But he told me NOT wear a sports bra after my op. He said to just wear a liitle cami top and to let them drop naturally!
Has any one else been told not to wear a sports bra?
I was told not to wear a sports bra after my op. I spoke to the nurse on my follow up appointment and she said that could start wearing one if i felt better with one on.
I did one week without a sports bra and then started to wear it during the day. Im 5 weeks post op now and i wear my sports bra during the day and take it off at night.
You will find that alot of people ask the same question.
Sometimes they recommend you dont wear them so that the implant can settle in and you may find that the surgeons recommed differently dependant on if you have unders or overs.
i had partical unders so yes it maybe becuase your having unders. If there is one thing that i can say is make sure you have some warm clothes to go home in and a v-pillow to relax on!
Mr Adamo told me that I didn’t HAVE to wear the bra if I didn’t want to, so I’ve gone for a 50/50 on and off. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable to wear it and sometimes it is uncomfortable if I don’t. i mainly just do what feels right x
hey hun, i am on the 15th dec and also having unders and no bra wearing, I spoke to my pc just to make aure about not wearing a bar and she said its to help the healing as wearing a bra pushes against the muscle and slows down the healing and dropping so i am going 6 weeks no bra………….aaaghh, i dunno how i will cope lol
i found that when i got cold in the first few weeks it was uncomfortable. A very strange feeling. chest muscles contracting. I get cold really easy anyway but i wraped up warm all the time when i went out. Its not a pain but i defo recommend keeping warm!
I was told no bra when i could, or if i needed to wear one for work wear sports bra with the straps loose so they can drop nicely, im 5 weeks post op and my boobs & scars are fine and have dropped!
