NOOO!!cant have op to December now any advice on winter recovery plz ladies xx

IT’S BLOODY TYPICAL LOL. Hubby can’t get time off work till the week before Xmas now do gonna get him for 5 weeks at home looking after me and kids. I’m just worried that itll be too cold for recovery and it’ll make me sorer (if that’s a word lol) I know in the long run I will have an easier longer recovery time but am also having nipple lift with 525trx implants an am booking Monday 17th December so for any ladies with nip lift and implants will after a week I be ok to enjoy Xmas day with my children and family. But at least now ive got a proper date for op loo.

any advice would be great xxx

I’m also worried about getting a cold and having my op cancelled is there anything I can use to minimise getting a cold thank sxxx

hey i had my op 19th dec and i healed fine babe i was out two days after shopping then was out on new years eve i only had a ba xx

If you are not having a full uplift then your healing wont be too bad but I guess you never know whether you will suffer any complications etc that might end up ruining your xmas. I dont want to sound like I am being a bringer of doom but it is surgery and there are risks so do you want to put yourself through all of that at such a busy time of year. How old are your children?? Will they understand if you are not well over xmas or will it upset them?? Also you will want to be careful about drinking alcohol and consuming too much sugary food over the xmas period as this can increase your risk of infection. I am sure you will be fine and healing well but sometimes its the lead up to xmas that is more stressful and busy than the day itself so you will need to be super prepared and have all your shopping done before hand so that you canb recover without worrying about last minute things. xx

Thanks girls. The week before Xmas all shopping will be done so no stress there. My children are only young do if I was still badly then they wouldn’t notice. Was just worried about cold wi nipples if ya know what I mean lol xxxx

Get the heating on and stay toasty and you will be fine xx

I had mine in feb when we had snow, the day I came out hosp I couldn’t get my coat on I was leaving in my thin jamas and dressing gowned I was crapping my self that freezing cold and nipples! Arr but I was sore all over so I dint even feel it and at home I had heating on and hid away for a week u will be fine hun best of luck x x x

Are you having unders or overs, I found with my unders when they cold muscle pulls tighter an they really hurt, keep your heating on an sure you be ok, at least youl be off your meds by Christmas day so can still have a Christmas drink xx

Thanks ladies. Glad to hear. I’m having overs I was just worried about the cold with it giving u goose bumps an erect nips if ya know what I mean but have read now that nips are normally numb anyways lol I’m not a drinker but we do have a glass of bubbly wi Xmas dinner so good to know I should be able to keep up wi family tradition but not a big loss if not tho. Am getting excited now just wish it was here already. But at least I got a date now xxxx
