normal, abnormal…or me just worryin! x

i’ve been worryin about the pain im havin in my left boob, it feels as though its really pullin where my stitches are and i can see a dark patch under the tape, obviously a little blood. Other side is fine, no pain at all or blood, but today its been quite painful at times really painful. I spoke 2 the nurse and she said its best to leave the tape on until post-op appointment, but said i could go tomorrow and get it checked out. My appointments on thursday so im guna try and hold out. Just wondered if any1 had experienced the same kind of thing. I think im just bein daft and worryin 4 no-reason but just cant help think it could be somethin bad!..xx

Go and see the nurse and don’t hold off, trust me, you will feel better for it, and they don’t mind. PLus if there IS anything wrong, which i doubt at this early stage, they can pick it up sooner I just went in to see the nurse today myself as I was worried about some swelling.. did me the world of good x

I had stabbing in left one all of the first week and it subsided at about day 9, everything was fine, so try not to worry. It could be swelling, nerves or healing xxx

thanks girls thats what it feels like, a stabbing pain underneath, when i spoke 2 the nurse she said it was common for people 2 have pain and things in one boob and not the other, but its just with it bleeding slightly..i keep gettin this image in my head of one of the stitches popin open or sumthin lol i no it sounds stupid but i cnt help it! xxx

Sometimes the blood coming through can look worse than it is, i had what looked like loads on my dressings but the incisions were dead clean when the dressings came off, if in doubt just see if they can fit you in earlier to put your mind at rest xx

Hope it’s ok April, i’m sure it’s just one of those things..have seen a few people asking the same thing, but I know this time next week it will be me panicking about the same things!! xx

I know what you mean, I am exactly the same! Thank god for the forum otherwise i’d seriously drive my hubby mad! I am excited but a bit fed up because I pulled my back really bad and it’s still causing me MAJOR problems! Am just telling myself that at least a break from lifting my 7 month old etc should help my back too!

yeah im the same lol i think i have battered everyones head to be honest with keep going on lol. Aww bless u, i hope u feel better soon. I no the feeling hun i have a 19month old and bless him hes been so gentle with me. He normals jumps all over but hes been givin me lots of hugs He keeps pointing at my boobies and sayin awww lol..yea totaly cant wait 2 get tape off! can be so irritating at times lol
