Nose cartilage graft?

Has anyone else had/ having a cartilage graft?

Dr G said I need one on my tip as my cartilage is inverted loads and he has to either cut it out and flip it over, or use some from the top of my nose….he said its really tricky so Im scared it will go wrong any of your stories/ info would be good!

Hey, i had cartilage grafts from both ears used in my septorhinoplasty with Dr. G in October. Don’t worry it’s not as scary as it sounds! The healing isn’t very painful, mostly uncomfortable and the scars are very well hidden. 2 months on and you can barely see them!

I had cartilage graft from behind my ears too,Dr Gonschior,strawbs is right,not an issue,and if it makes your nose beautiful that’s what counts.Im 3 weeks post op,xxx

Hi Xena, I’m having a graft at the bottom from the top of my nose. Op is on 2nd Feb, happy to let you know how I get on. Abi x
